Tobio

You groaned as you forced your eyes open. When had you fallen asleep? Hmph, that scientist must have drugged you. You slowly sat up, feeling sluggish. You stretched your stiff limbs and looked around. You looked to be in some sort of cell. You looked at the bars and realised that they were lasers. You decided not to touch them. As you were looking around, you heard a gasp.

"Hey, you! You're finally awake!" Said a boy's voice. You looked around to find the owner of the said voice but couldn't see him. "Up here!" You looked up and your eyes widened. Up in a higher cell... was Astro! You smiled.

"Astro!" You exclaimed as you stood up. The boy gave you a confused look.

"Astro? That's not my name. My name is Tobio. I was captured by that weird man and trapped here." Tobio stated. Your eyes widened. Tobio? But he was supposed to be dead! You were about to question his presence when Dr Mini mini walked in. You saw Tobio cower in fear. You glared at the mad scientist. Dr Mini mini grinned.

"Ah, good. You're finally awake. And I presume that you've met Tobio? You better get to know each other, because you're both going to be spending A LOT of time together." Your eyes widened. You then narrowed them.

"How, how is he here?" You questioned. Dr Mini mini grinned.

"The same way I brought you here my dear." With that, Dr Mini mini left the room. You growled. So Tobio was taken from the past? You glanced up at the boy and noticed that he was only a child. Tobio sniffled and started to sob. Your eyes softened.

"Hey, it's going to be alright. I'll find a way to get us out of here." You reassured him. Tobio glanced at you, and nodded. He then watched as you looked around searching for some time of pad or escape route. You then sighed in frustration. Of course he would throw you in a cell without a code to hack into. You then glanced up at Tobio's cell and saw that his padlock was within his reach. You grinned. "Tobio, do you think you can reach over to that padlock and try to hack into it?" Tobio stared at you with wide eyes. He then shook his head fearfully.

"B-but I don't know how to hack into things! Plus these bars..." Tobio drifted off as he eyed the lasers. You smiled gently at him.

"It's okay, I'll guide you. You'll be fine. Just try not to touch the bars and you'll be fine." Tobio hesitated, but decided to trust you. He slowly slipped his arm through the bars and hovered his fingers over the panel. You guided him by telling him what buttons to press and not a moment later, did you hear a beep and saw the lasers disappear. You grinned and watch as he made his way towards you with a big grin on his face.

"I did it! Now let's get you out!" You nodded and held your finger to your lips, signalling for him to be more quiet. Tobio's eyes widened as he covered his mouth. You smiled and told him where the lock was, which happened to be out of your reach on a nearby wall. Tobio made his way over to the padlock and did as you told him to. After a few minutes you finally heard a beep and watched as the lasers to your cell disappeared. You smiled and walked out. Tobio ran up to you when you both heard footsteps approaching. You gasped and guided Tobio into a hiding spot.

"Stay here." Tobio's eyes widened.

"What!? B-b-but... what about you?" You smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll be back." You told as you ran to block the door. You jammed the padlock and looked around for another way to escape. When you saw an air vent you grinned. You quickly rushed over to Tobio and grabbed him just as you heard banging on the door. You saw a couple of dents on the door and guessed that Dr Mini mini had a robot with him. You lifted Tobio up into the air vents and quickly climbed in after him. You then shut the air vent just as the door was broken down. Dr Mini mini walked in and saw that you were both gone. He then growled.

"FIND THEM! WE CAN'T LET THEM ESCAPE!" Dr Mini mini shouted. Tobio whimpered. You then ruffled his hair.

"Come on, we need to get out of here." Tobio nodded as you squeezed past him, taking the lead. Tobio followed behind.

"So, what's your name?" Tobio whispered. You glanced back at him.

"I'm... Y/N." Tobio's eyes widened.

"Y/N...? As in the greatest scientist to ever live!?" Your eyes widened and you quickly covered his mouth with your hand. You then sighed in relief when you heard a muffled apology come from Tobio. You released him and smiled.

"Yes, I'm surprised that you've heard of me." Tobio grinned.

"Heard of you? You're like my greatest idol! I look up to you so much! You were the greatest scientist to ever live! Sadly you... disappeared. What happened?" Tobio questioned. You remained silent. Tobio sighed. His eyes then widened in realisation. "Hold on a minute, how are you even here?" You froze. You glanced at Tobio.

"Tell me, Tobio. How old are you?" Tobio cocked his head to the right in confusion.

"I'm twelve, why?" Your eyes widened.

TOBIO's POV (Just decided to do this. Won't be happening too often.)

Y/N had a sad look in her eyes. Why did she look so sad? Suddenly, she hugged me! My eyes widened as she hugged me tightly. She felt so warm and soft. I slowly closed my eyes and leant into her warmth. She's everything I imagined for her to be. She was so kind, and smart, and she was really pretty too. She reminds me... of mother. I sniffled at the thought of mother. I then felt Y/N wipe my tears away and looked up at her. She smiled gently at me. She then turned back around.

"Come on, we need to get out of here." I nodded and followed behind. I felt so safe with her. A thought then came to me, she was supposed to have disappeared around ninety years ago. What if that crazy man stole her from the- My thoughts were interrupted when Y/N stopped suddenly, causing me to bump into her. I glanced at her questioningly. She looked down for a moment then suddenly turned to me. "Listen to me Tobio, I'm going to drop down here and when the coast is clear, I'll signal you to jump down as well. Don't worry, I'll catch you." My eyes widened. She was so brave! I definitely want to be like her when I grow up. I nodded. She smiled and waited until it was safe to jump down. Unlike her, I was a coward. Y/N jumped down and after a moment of checking, she opened her arms, signalling for me to jump down. I did as told and jumped into her arms. She set me down onto my feet and took hold of my hand as she guided us through the hallways of who knows where.

Astro sat nervously as he watched Dr Oshay fix Zoran. Astro clenched his hands together as he gritted his teeth. Dr Mini mini would pay for what he did. He had to get you back. Astro jolted when he felt a soft hand on his shoulder and looked up to see Yuko smiling at him.

"Astro, Zoran will be alright. Dr Oshay just needs to finish her repairs." Astro sighed and looked down and nodded.

"What about Y/N? She still needs to be saved! I need to go and rescue her!" Yuko frowned and glanced over at Dr Oshay. Dr Oshay wiped the sweat of his brow and continued on Zoran's repairs. She then turned back to Astro.

"I've been doing some research and I think I've found out where Dr Mini mini has taken Y/N." Astro beamed at Yuko.

"Really!? That's great! Where is she!?" Yuko took out a folder and handed it to Astro.

"Well, according to surveillance Dr Mini mini has taken her to his old lab." Astro nodded as he flipped through the folders. He then gave Yuko a determined look.

"Alright, I'm going to head there and go rescue Y/N!" Yuko held up her hand.

"Now just a moment. Don't go barging in there without a plan. First you need to find where she's being held prisoner, THEN rescue her." Astro nodded.

"Don't worry, I have a plan. I'm going off now, see you." Before Yuko could say anything more, Astro had run out of the room. Dr Oshay looked back at Astro and frowned.

"Stay safe."
