Astro and Robbie frowned as they stared at the white board. They then shook their heads.

"No, this won't do. It's all wrong." Robbie said with a frown. Astro nodded.

"Yeah, I have to agree. We can't build a time machine with these answers." You sat on the sidelines, feeling completely useless. You had a look at the white board and an idea popped into your head. You then raised your hand.

"Hey, I have an idea! How about we-" You were interrupted by Robbie.

"Leave this to the professionals, Y/N."

"But I-" Robbie turned to you.

"Y/N! Don't make me have to raise my voice. Time travel is far more comprehensive then you think it is, a child like you would know nothing of it. So, go outside and play while Astro and I try to think of a way to return him back to the future." Robbie told. You frowned and stood up.

"Fine, stupid old man!" You shouted as you ran out of the shed, tears prickling your eyes. Astro watched you with worried eyes. He then turned to Robbie.

"Weren't you a little harsh on her?" Astro questioned. Robbie sighed.

"Yes, but I have to be. I don't want her to get any more involved. I want her to grow up to be a normal child." Astro raised his eyebrow.

"What does suggesting an idea have to do with being a normal child?" Astro questioned. Robbie sighed.

"You wouldn't understand. Let's just get back to work." Astro nodded, and turned back to the white board.

You sniffled as you sat on one of the park benches. For some reason, Robbie had been distant with you recently as well as Astro. It was as if they didn't want you getting involved. You sighed and stared at the large oak tree. That tree had been there for as long as you could remember. Now that you think about it, you had known Robbie for almost your entire life. You were thirteen now, so that meant you had known him for around eight years. Your thoughts then drifted back to Astro. When you both had first met, he had been a bit distant. Now, he had the warmest smile that you had ever seen. You felt something special in your heart whenever you thought of the robot boy. You sighed, and looked up. You then noticed something in the sky, and stood up. You narrowed your eyes at the sky.

"What the...? What's that?" You concentrated your vision, and saw an object coming closer and closer to you. You then gasped when a giant robot landed on the ground in front of you, causing you to fall backwards. You shook your head as you groaned in pain, and looked up with wide eyes. Standing in front of you was a giant robot that looked to be five feet tall. Situated in the centre of the robot was a short grown man that looked to be in his forties with a noticeable bold spot on his head. The man had a sinister smirk on his face as he laughed.

"HAHAHAHAHA! I've finally made it to the past! Now, first order of business is to get rid of that meddlesome robot Astro." You gasped. The sinister looking man noticed you, and turned towards you. "You there, you wouldn't happen to know of a robot called Astro, would you?" You were frozen with fear. You couldn't move or speak. This man, was he also from the future!? The man grinned. "Hmph! Frozen in fear I see. Well, no matter for I will find him and destroy him anyway." The man then started laughing maniacally.

Astro and Robbie were chatting when they heard a giant explosion. Robbie cried out, and fell to the ground. Astro had managed to keep his balance and was looking around in bewilderment. Robbie groaned, and sat up.

"Holy cow what was that!?" Robbie questioned. Astro frowned.

"I don't know, but this can't be good!" Astro yelled as he ran out of the workshop. As soon as he ran outside, he heard screams and cries of the citizens of the past. Astro followed the sounds of cries and gasped at what he saw. He saw a grown man controlling a giant robot as the robot shot out lasers at the park and the surrounding buildings. Astro narrowed his eyes. "Dr Mini mini." Dr Mini mini turned to Astro, and smirked.

"Oh, how nice of you to join me Astro. I've been looking for you." Dr Mini mini told as he shot at Astro with some of the lasers. Astro flew up, and dodged the lasers. He then raised his hand and transformed it into a canon. Dr Mini mini tsked. "Ah ah ah, I wouldn't recommend doing that. Unless, you want her to get hurt." The mad scientist told as he held you up in the robot's clutches. You struggled to get out of the robot's grip as you smashed your fists onto its hand. Astro's eyes widened.

"Let he go!" Astro cried. Dr Mini mini grinned.

"Now, why would I do that? After all, this girl an important part of our history." Astro's eyes widened.

"What are you talking about?" Dr Mini mini tightened his grip on you, causing you to cry out in pain. Astro gasped. "DON'T YOU DARE HURT HER!" Astro yelled in fury as he aimed his weapon at Dr Mini mini. Dr Mini mini grinned. He then threw you to the ground. You landed in the trees, and fell to the ground. Astro was about to fly down to you, but the mad scientist prevented him from doing so. You groaned, and saw Robbie rush over to you. When had he gotten here? Robbie dived down to you.

"Y/N! Are you okay kiddo?" Robbie questioned. You smiled, and winced. You then nodded.

"Y-yeah, I'm okay. Just a bit bruised." You said. Robbie sighed in relief.

"Thank god kiddo. You had me worried for a sec there." You grinned at him. Astro and Dr Mini mini had a stare off. They then charged at each other, and delivered blow to blow. You and Robbie watched with anxious eyes. "Is that man also from the future?" You nodded.

"Yes, I think he was the one who sent Astro here." You told. You then looked down. "If he manages to trick that man into going back to the future, then maybe he will be able to return to the future as well." Astro had overheard your idea, and turned towards you. Dr Mini mini frowned.

"Don't IGNORE ME!" The mad scientist shouted. Astro gasped as a laser was fired at him and dodged the laser. What he didn't realise was that you and Robbie were behind him and that the laser headed straight towards you. Astro gasped, and rushed towards you both. He managed to grab you, but missed Robbie and flew straight into the tree. Robbie dodged the laser, causing it to hit a nearby building. The building crumbled, and fell onto him. You gasped.

"ROBBIE!" You cried as you pushed yourself out of Astro's grip and rushed over to him. Robbie had half his body stuck under the rubble, and glanced up at you. He had blood pouring down the side of his head as he coughed out mounts of blood. Your eyes widened. "R-Robbie..." Robbie grinned at you.

"A-at least... you got... out of... there... kid... do..." Robbie's eyes then closed as he fell unconscious. Astro rushed over to the both of you, and pulled Robbie out of the rubble. You then pushed him away.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" You cried. Astro's eyes widened in surprise as he was suddenly shoved away. You clutched onto Robbie as tears poured down your eyes. You sniffled. "W-why... why didn't you save him?" You questioned with your eyes downcast. Astro looked down in shame.

"I-I tried! But I... failed. I missed grabbing him causing him to..." Astro froze at the look you gave him. In your eyes was pure malice. You then looked down.

"Leave." Astro gave you a look of confusion.

"What?" You glared at the robot boy.

"I said LEAVE! GO BACK TO YOUR OWN TIMELINE!" You then sniffled. "If you had never come here, then Robbie would be okay, we'd ALL be okay! Why? Why did you have to interfere with the past? WHY DID YOU EVEN COME HERE!? WHAT IS IT THAT YOU WANT FROM US!?" Astro stared at you, then looked down in shame.

"I... I..." You shook your head.

"I don't care. Just... go. I don't want to see you ever again." Astro closed his eyes, and nodded.

"If that's what you wish." By that time, Dr Mini mini had chosen to retreat back to the future while leaving a portal open. Astro turned around. He then glanced back at you. "I'll miss you, and Robbie. I'm sorry for everything I've caused. I will make sure that nobody interferes with the past anymore. Goodbye, Y/N." With those final words, Astro flew up to the portal in the sky that lead back to his time. You covered your mouth to muffle your sobs of despair as the portal disappeared right after Astro had flown through it. You then heard the ambulance arrive with the fire department and the police. You watched as Robbie was placed on a stretcher and pulled inside the van. You wanted to go with him, but the police wanted to talk with you. So, you went with them instead.
