First day in the future

You stared at the ministry if science in awe. Astro stood by your side while grinning. He then gestured to the building.

"Shall we?" You nodded and followed Astro inside. When you entered, you looked around in awe.

"Wow, the ministry of science has changed so much in the past one hundred years!" You exclaimed. Astro put his finger to his lips, signalling for you to be quieter. You gasped and covered your mouth with your hands. You both then walked up to the receptionist, and smiled at her. The receptionist looked up and smiled.

"Ah, Astro! Are you here to see Dr Oshay?" Astro nodded. "Head on in, then." The receptionist then noticed you. "Oh, is she your girlfriend?" You blushed redder than a tomato while Astro nodded while smiling. You looked at him in disbelief. He actually managed to confirm it while staying calm about it! The receptionist giggled, and let you both through. As you walked through the halls, everyone greeted Astro, but ignored you. You raised your eyebrow.

"I'm surprised that they haven't recognized me." Astro turned towards you and shrugged.

"Well, it HAS been a hundred years ever since your 'disappearance'. As long as you don't tell them your name, then they won't know who you are." You nodded. You then looked down and frowned.

"That's the problem actually. I can't tell them who I am, it would start uproar!" Astro hummed in thought as he put his hand to his chin.

"Yeah, that is a problem. We'll need to come up with a back-story for you as well as a new name." Astro stated. He then smiled. "Oh, I've got it! You can be the long lost descendant of Y/N L/N! Now there comes the name..." You hummed in thought. You then brightened.

"What about Alice?" Astro smiled, and nodded. (AN: Sorry if this is your actual name.)

"Yeah, that sounds great! But we'll have to tell Dr Oshay who you really are." You raised your eyebrow.

"Oh, is he the current head of the ministry of science?" Astro nodded.

"Yep! In fact, he was the one who came up with the plan to save you! He should be expecting us." You nodded. You both then made your way towards the top floor, and knocked on the door. You heard someone say a quick 'come in,' and entered the office to see an old man with an unusually large nose talking on the phone. When he saw you and Astro, he smiled.

"I have to go, bye." Dr Oshay then stood up. "Astro! You're back!" He then glanced to you, and his eyes widened. "Is that who I think it is?" Astro grinned and nodded. Dr Oshay then rushed over to you. Your eyes widened. "I don't believe it, you're actually here!" You sweat dropped. He sounded like a fan girl. Dr Oshay's eyes then widened. "Oh! Pardon my rudeness. I am Dr Oshay, head of the ministry of science." You smiled, and shook his hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. I am Y/N L/N." Dr Oshay smiled.

"Oh, I know who you are. You are one of our history's greatest scientists! Tell me, how did you come up with the idea of a teleportation device at the age of fourteen?" You eyes widened, and you looked towards Astro. Astro cocked his head to the side while smiling. You smiled at him and looked back to Dr Oshay.

"Well, actually, it was all because of Astro. He and Robbie were writing equations on the white board trying to figure out how to return to the future. But when I had a look at their formulas, they were incorrect." Astro's eyes widened.

"What? I thought that it was weird that those formulas didn't make any sense." Astro muttered. You nodded.

"So, I rewrote all of the equations and ended up inventing a teleportation device with the help of my old teacher, Professor Robert Stewerd." Dr Oshay nodded.
