AN: Hello my dear readers! I would like to inform you all that this story is close to coming to an end. Don't worry though, this isn't the last chapter! But there will be a lot of time skips. Sorry if that annoys you. I hope that you enjoy this chapter!

You frowned at the statistics that showed up on the screen. You took out a notebook and wrote down some notes. Once you had finished jotting down some notes, you turned towards the phone and called Dr Armstrong. You waited for a bit then smiled when you saw Dr Armstrong walk in. It was odd, he was a higher rank than you but you were put in charge of the project so he basically became your assistant. Dr Armstrong smiled at you and sat down in front of you.

"Dr L/N, what can I do for you?" You looked up at him.

"Dr Armstrong, I've had a look at the statistics of the machine and I've noticed some unsettling....side effects." You informed as you showed him your notes. Dr Armstrong took hold of your notes and frowned at the contents. "I've had a look at the data and it seems that I've done some miscalculations. Indeed does the machine create an ozone layer, but in doing so it doesn't create clean air. If we were to add even trees the air would still be unclean. There would be no pure air, it's all confined." Dr Armstrong smiled at you and handed your notebook back to you.

"Oh Dr L/N, there's no need to worry. We can always just improve in the near future. For the mean time, we can use this machine to create new life forms on other planets." You frowned.

"But that's the problem! I don't want to use the machine just yet, not until we've perfected it." Dr Armstrong sighed.

"Now let's be reasonable here, we don't want to waste this machine. Nothing can be perfect. Sure there may be some imperfections, but this doesn't mean that we still can't use the machine. It will be fine, trust me." Dr Armstrong told as he rested his hand on your shoulder. You sighed and nodded. Dr Armstrong nodded in satisfaction and got up and left. You sighed and looked back at the statistics. You the shrugged it off and closed the data file.

Later that day, both you and Bella sat at a cafe eating sweets. Bella hummed in delight as she took a bite out of her chocolate cake while you poked at your food. Bella noticed your actions and frowned.

"Y/N, aren't you going to eat? What's wrong?" Bella questioned. You sighed and glanced up at her.

"Am I really making the right decision?" Bella gave you a confused look. You sighed. "I mean about creating the OLP X. That machine...it works but it doesn't produce clean enough air. I don't want to use it on other planets just yet, but we are running low on time." You admitted. Bella stared at you. She then sighed.

"Listen Y/N, I don't know anything about the OLP X but what I do know is that you should do what you think is right. Maybe ask more than one person for advice, you never know more than one input on a matter always is better." You sighed and nodded. You then smiled.

"Thanks Bella, that was some good insight. I should be getting back to work though, I'll see you later." Bella nodded and at you. You waved back and got back to work.

Later that day, you stretched your arms and got up. You had managed to finish your workload early this time and had some time to kill. So you decided to head home early. You grabbed your things and bit farewell to your fellow colleagues and left the building. You walked along the river and inhaled the scent of the fresh air that surrounded the river. You had always loved the countryside. As you were walking along the stone path, you looked at the river bank and saw someone relaxing alongside it. You then grimaced as to who it was. You decided to just ignore that person and continued walking passed him, hoping that he wouldn't see you. Unfortunately, you had stepped on a twig, alerting your presence. Reno glanced at you, and sat up. He then smiled.
