A postponed camping trip

You smiled as you drove a van along an old concrete road in the middle of nowhere. Next to you sat Dr Oshay who was sleeping, in the back was Astro, Zoran and Kennedy. In the far back sat Abercrombie, Reno and Ajeero. You had all decided to go on a camping trip.

Earlier that day, you slumped over your desk looking as if someone had just sucked the life out of you. You then heard a knock on the door and mentally cried. You then sighed and laid your face down on your desk.

"Come in." Your voice was muffled by the desk as the door opened. You then looked up and saw that it was Astro and the smiley tra- erm, Reno. Astro and Reno both gave you funny looks.

"Wow, you look like you just went to hell and back." Reno chuckled as he prodded your cheeks. You swatted his hand away and sighed.

"It feels like I just did. Ugh, I seriously need a break." You complained. Astro hummed in thought. His eyes then brightened as he smiled.

"I've got an idea! Why don't we go camping!?" You looked up at Astro lazily and raised your eyebrow at him.

"Say what now?" You questioned. Astro grinned.

"Camping! We could go camping! You, me, Dr Oshay, Rino, Zoran, Ajeero, Abercrombie, Kennedy, we could all go together!" Reno smiled.

"Yeah, that sounds like fun." You sighed.

"But I've never really been an outside person. If you haven't already noticed, I'm an introvert." Astro rolled his eyes.

"Oh, come on Y/N. It'll be fun! Plus this will be our first vacation together!" You frowned. Reno grinned and slung his arm around your shoulders, causing a tic mark to appear on your head.

"Oh, come on small one. It'll be fun!" You growled.

"Don't call me small one!" You snapped as you shrugged him off. Reno whistled.

"Someone's angry. This camping trip will be good for you." Reno stated. You sighed then smiled.

"I guess I could use a break. When should we leave?" You questioned as you sat up. Astro and Reno grinned at you.

"How about right now?" They both chorused. Your eyes widened as Astro picked you up and slung you over his shoulders.

"To be honest, Reno and I already had this trip planned." Astro told. You frowned.

"And what if I said no?" Reno grinned.

"Then we would have kidnapped you." You glared at Reno as he laughed. Astro joined Reno in laughing as you frowned. Astro then ran towards the window with you and Reno. Your eyes widened as Astro opened the window looked down.

"Astro don't you dare-" But it was too late; Astro had jumped. You screamed as Astro laughed. You then looked up and saw that Reno had jumped as well. Was he crazy!? He could die! Your eyes then widened when Reno bent down to his shoes and something activated. Suddenly, he was flying! Since when could that smiley trash bag fly!? Astro landed on the ground and placed you down on your feet. You panted as you tried to calm your heart rate down. You then gave Astro a look who in turn grinned. You sighed while shaking your head. You then turned to see Reno land on the ground and run towards a van.

"We've already packed your stuff. Let's go!" Reno told. He was then about to enter the driver's seat when you pulled on his ear. Reno cried out as he was pulled back.

"Nuh uh, you are SO not driving. I'LL drive." Reno raised his eyebrow at you.

"But you don't even-" You frowned.

"Nope! My word is final. And besides, I remember the LAST time you drove." Suddenly images of you screaming with tears in your eyes as Reno stopped and went really fast while laughing, doing it on purpose. You shook at the memories. Reno was about to protest but you ignored him and entered the driver's seat. The others were already inside. Dr Oshay looked at you and his eyes widened.
