You gripped your hair as you yelled out in frustration. You finally got your own mini office thanks to your few promotions. Your eye then twitched when you got ANOTHER call concerning project X. You breathed in and out and pressed a button. A man's face then appeared.
"What's the progress with the project?" You questioned. You heard someone inform you that there was a problem and you sighed. "Then go and fix it! It can't be THAT hard to connect the atom inputs into the generator!" You then ended the call and sighed. You started to rub your temples when you heard a knock at your door and groaned. You gritted your teeth and stood up as the door opened. "What is it now-" You stopped when you saw it was Astro and sighed. "Oh, it's just you Astro." Astro smiled and raised his eyebrow.
"You almost look disappointed." You waved him off.
"No, it's not that. I'm just tired is all." You admitted. Astro frowned.
"What's wrong? Is everything alright?" Astro questioned as he made his way towards you. You sighed and nodded.
"Yeah, it's just that the people who I'm working with. They are... difficult." You and Astro then heard the phone ring again and you sighed for the up tenth time that day. You pressed the button. "Yes?"
"We've installed the atom inputs into the generator. What next?" A man's voice questioned. You nodded and stood up.
"I'll be right there." You said before ending the call. You then looked at Astro. "I'm sorry Astro but I simply just don't have time to talk today. I'm very busy so maybe come back later." You then hurriedly grabbed some things and left the room. Astro frowned. He then sighed and left the room.
ASTRO's POV
Y/N has been awfully busy lately with the OLP X project, we've barely spent any time together. I sighed. I hope the project ends soon. I continued to walk along a concrete path, deciding not to fly today and take a nice walk. I looked over at the ocean and smiled. I remember this place. This was the place where Zoran and I chased each other. I laughed at the funny memory. I then looked over at the forest. We found Zoran's pet and best friend Houdini. He was a cute little guy. He's grown a lot over the years but is still quite healthy. Suddenly, part of the forest was engulfed in a bright light. I cried out in surprise and closed my eyes. I then felt a wait knock me over and I fell to the ground. I groaned and opened my eyes to see....me!? Me and my look-a-like stared at each other in shock. He then hurriedly got off me and took a few steps back. I slowly sat up and stood to my feet without taking my eyes off my doppelganger. I was about to open my mouth when I heard a splash behind me. I turned around and waited a few moments. A few moments later ANOTHER look-a-like climbed up the cliff and collapsed onto the pavement. My eyes widened when ANOTHER followed the other doppelganger up the cliff and sat beside the one on the ground. I stared at the two in shock, then remembered the one behind me and whipped my head around to see that he had run past me and towards the other two. I stared at the three doppelgangers in shock. I then raised my eyebrow at them.
"Who are you? And why do you all look like me?" I questioned. The three doppelgangers glanced at each other, then stood up.
"We're you. But... from other timelines." One of the doppelgangers told. He wore a blue jumper with black jeans and red boots. I narrowed my eyes at him.
"And how do I know that you're telling the truth?" I questioned. The other 'me' sighed.
"It's true because we have the same abilities. Well, mostly." The other 'me' stated. I frowned, still not convinced. The one that sat on the ground sighed and stood up. He wasn't wearing anything... only his underwear.
"Listen, we're telling the truth! You've gotta believe us!" He cried. The one next to him nodded and stood up. He wore a white shirt under his yellow sweater and wore brown pants with red boots.
"I'm a robot who is incapable of lying. What they say is the truth." I eyed the three suspiciously, but something inside me told me that they were telling the truth. So, I decided to believe them.
"Okay, let's say you guys ARE other versions of me from different timelines. Tell me, why are you here then?" I questioned. The three other versions of me glanced at each other then looked back at me.
"We're here because we're trying to get home. You see, there is a man in my timeline who is capable of the ability to time travel. He came back to the past again to ask for my assistance but something went wrong and instead of travelling through time, I ended up travelling through to different dimensions." The one in the yellow sweater told. He then took out a broken pocket watch. "See this? This item gives me the ability to travel to different timelines. I used this to meet the other versions of me. Unfortunately when I tried to use it again the other two travelled with me and the pocket watch ended up breaking." I eyed the pocket watch. I then looked up at the one in the yellow sweater.
"So basically, you want me to fix your pocket watch?" The yellow sweater one nodded.
"Yeah! But if you can't then we'll be stuck in this timeline forever! Please help us, you're an Astro too right?" I hesitated. I mean, I don't even KNOW these guys. But... what if they are saying is the truth? I sighed and looked at them.
"Alright, I'll help. But don't cause any trouble!" The three of them nodded and smiled.
"We won't!" They all chorused. I smiled.
"Good. Now, before we start anything we'll need to find you all a place to stay." I then started to hum in thought. I can't take them to my house, it's too cramped there. Dr Oshay's place? No, that won't do. Hmm, Reno? No his place won't have enough room. Y/N? Well she DOES have the room, but I don't want to bother her. I tried to think of multiple solutions but nothing else came into mind. I then sighed. Her place it is. I looked at the other versions of me. "Okay I have ONE place in mind for you three, but you'll have to behave. Her name is Y/N and she should have enough room for you three. Plus she kinda has experience with this sort of situation." The one in the blue sweater smiled.
"Seriously!? Thanks a bunch!" I nodded while smiling.
"No problem. But first tell me the names you all go by. I mean, you DID come up with nicknames right?" The three of them nodded.
"Yep! I go by blue." The one in the blue sweater said (2009).
"I go by yellow." The one in the yellow sweater told (1980).
"I go by green." The one in only his underwear stated (1960). I nodded, then hummed in thought.
"Hmm, since you all go by those nicknames, then I guess I'll go by red. Well, follow me. I'll take you to Y/N's house." I stated as I flew up to the sky. I then turned and saw yello, green and blue follow behind me.
