A wild party

Both you and Astro sat in your office, dead to the world. Astro was almost out of energy and you were on the verge of collapsing. You groaned as Dr Oshay walked into the office. His eyes widened when he saw Astro slumped on the ground and you slumped at your desk. He then chuckled and crouched down to Astro.

"Are you almost out of energy?" Dr Oshay questioned. Astro nodded. Dr Oshay smiled and picked Astro up. He then turned to you. "Good work on the repairs of the OLP X, Y/N. Now it's ready for those programs to be installed." Your eyes widened as you sat up. You then nodded and stood up. It was time. You made your way passed Dr Oshay and into the engine room where the OLP X sat. You took a USB out of your pocket and walked towards the control panel. Everyone watched you with baited breath as you installed the USB into the machine's main input. You then downloaded all of the necessary software. As you were installing the software you saw Astro and Dr Oshay walk in. They walked over to you and looked up at the machine. Once the programs were fully downloaded into the machine, you unplugged the UBS and your hand hovered over the activation button. Dr Armstrong approached you and smiled.

"Dr L/N, we are now ready for the test run of the machine." You nodded and pressed the button. The machine then activated and shot a beam of light into the air. You all stood back and watched in amazement as the machine shot up into the roof, creating a thick layer of ozone. Your eyes widened. You all then cheered. You ran up to Astro and hugged him.

"We did it! It worked!" You cheered as Astro laughed while nodding. You both then turned back towards the controls and saw Dr Armstrong standing in front of them.

"Dr L/N, we've also installed a reverse mechanism that allows us to take away the ozone layer." Dr Armstrong informed as he pressed a button that activated the reverse mechanism. Your eyes widened. You then smiled.

"Impressive. Next time, just inform me of the changes." Dr Armstrong nodded. Dr Oshay rested his hands on both you and Astro's shoulders.

"I'd say that this deserves a celebration. We should hold a party!" Dr Oshay suggested. Astro grinned while nodding.

"Yeah! Won't that be fun Y/N?" Astro questioned as he turned towards you. You nodded while smiling.

"Yeah, that would be fun! We'll hold it at my place." Dr Oshay nodded as well as Astro.

"Yeah, and we'll invite everybody!" Astro exclaimed. You froze. You then leaned in really close to Astro's face.

"I don't want too many people in my house. Just friends and family." You deadpanned. Astro sweat dropped and nodded. You smiled and backed away. "Great! Let's hold it tonight then!" Astro and Dr Oshay nodded and you all left to prepare for the party.

Later that night, everyone was laughing and chatting together. A man with a noticeable bold spot on his head and a white moustache chatted and laughed with Dr Oshay. Astro sweat dropped at him. You raised your eyebrow at the man.

"Who's that?" You questioned. Astro glanced at you.

"Oh, he's a close friend of Dr Oshay's. His name is Wally Kisaragi. He and Dr Oshay have been friends for a very long time. You've met him before." You raised your eyebrow at Astro.

"I don't remember meeting him." Astro shrugged. Wally then turned towards you and smiled.

"Ah, Y/N! How nice to see you again." Wally told as he walked towards you. Your eyes widened. You then smiled nervously.

"Ah, Wally! Uh, y-yes! It's so nice to see you again." Man were you a terrible liar, but Wally seemed to buy it though. Wally grinned and shook your hand. He then walked off towards an esky that he had brought with him and took out a few bottles of wine. Your eyes widened as well as everybody else. Dr Oshay frowned.
