A sinister plot

You stood at the train station with Astro and Dr Oshay. Bella had left on a different train with other scientists earlier. Astro hugged you tightly as you hugged him back.

"It'll only be a few months. We'll be back shortly." Astro told as he held you. You smiled and nodded. Astro then looked at you and kissed you on the lips passionately. Dr Oshay smiled at the scene as you kissed him back. After a few moments passed you both separated when the final call for the train to Kyoto was announced. You smiled and waved to Astro and Dr Oshay as you watched them board the bullet train to Kyoto. Astro opened the window and waved to you. The train then started moving and you watched as the train drove off in the distance. Once the train was out of sight you let your hand drop and sighed. You were now officially alone until they came back. You were actually surprised that Astro's sister, Zoran, hadn't come to see her older brother off. You turned around and made your way back towards the ministry of science. You still had loads of work to do. Fun.

Astro strained his eyes as he tried to see you with his superior vision. Dr Oshay chuckled.

"Astro I don't think your vision can close in on her anymore. We're just too far away." Dr Oshay told. Astro sighed and leaned back into the train before closing the window.

"Yeah, I know, but I just wanted to catch a glimpse of her before leaving." Astro admitted. Dr Oshay smiled. He then looked out the window.

"It's exciting though, isn't it? I know that you've been to Kyoto before with your friends, but this will be our first time going together." Astro smiled at the old scientist.

"Yeah, it IS exciting. I can't wait to do all sorts of stuff with you!" Astro said. Dr Oshay nodded.

"Yes, but don't forget our true purpose either. We still have to complete the butterfly project." Astro nodded.

"Yeah, just wondering but why is it called the butterfly project?" Astro wondered. Dr Oshay chuckled.

"Well you see Astro it's called the butterfly project because the idea originally came from a recent research in a butterfly's origin. I know that our project isn't too related to a butterfly's origin, but the study results are quite similar." Astro hummed in thought.

"So basically we're studying time travel?" Dr Oshay's eyes widened and he shushed Astro with his finger.

"Shhhhh! Not so loud." Astro apologised.

"Sorry, but I don't understand why we're even doing this project. I mean, Dr Mini mini already discovered time travel. So, what's the use in us commencing with this?" Astro questioned. Dr Oshay sighed.

"It's not all just about time travel. That's one of the main factors of it. We also require teleportation, telekinesis, space and time continuum and also the other theories of the universe." Dr Oshay told. Astro frowned.

"Then why didn't you bring Y/N? She's the one with the most experience with this type of stuff." Dr Oshay shook his head.

"Astro, I thought we've been through this. Y/N is dead to the world. It would be suspicious if she were to know too much. According to the science society, Y/N is dead and Alice has no science background. She happened upon her ancestor's notes and presented them to us. Remember that." Astro sighed and nodded.

"Yes, sorry professor." Dr Oshay smiled.

"It's quite alright. Now, let's just enjoy the train ride with the beautiful scenery and the wondrous train food." Dr Oshay told as his mouth started to water at the thought of food. Astro shook his head while smiling.

Somewhere else, a man with a short stature stared at a computer screen that was linked to a large machine. He grinned. He then heard a door open and turned to see a man walk in wearing a black suite and a black hat. The man smiled at the shorter man and bowed.

"Hello Dr Mini mini, long time no see." The man greeted. Dr Mini mini grinned evilly.

"Ah, Drake. It sure has been a long time. Glad to see you out of prison." Dr Mini mini greeted.

"Likewise." Drake then glanced at the giant machine. "So, what do we have here?" Dr Mini mini grinned.

"Oh, just a little something from five years ago." Drake's eyes widened.

"Wait, is this THAT machine from back then?" Drake questioned. Dr Mini mini nodded.

"Yes, but new and improved. Heh heh heh heh heh. And the first step to my plan is almost complete. I just need two more factors." Dr Mini mini stated as he rubbed his hands together. Drake eyed Dr Mini mini.

"What are these two factors?" Dr Mini mini glanced at Drake.

"Y/N L/N." Drake gasped and stood back in shock.

"What!? But she died one hundred years ago! How do you plan on obtaining her!?" Dr Mini mini chuckled.

"Oh I can assure you that she is alive and well. In fact I am even aware of her location and the fact that she is unguarded at the moment. That meddlesome Astro has gone to Kyoto with that annoying doctor along with some other scientists. They'll be there for a few months last I heard." Drake gulped.

"I see. And the second factor would be...?" Dr Mini mini grinned evilly.

"Tobio."
