You know it's Valentine's Day,
when the world feels dressed in soft display,
when colors of love start to blend and play,
like a fantasy that never wants to stay.
You know it's Valentine's Day,
when roses bloom in a perfect way,
for hands that will let them fade away,
once the moment drifts and slips astray.
You know it's Valentine's Day,
when love feels close but never stays,
like something always just out of the way,
always spoken, never mine to say.
And for you it's simple, clear, okay—
a day to love, to laugh, to stay.
But for me it always ends this way:
watching love belong... somewhere away.
