Dear Fear

Dear fear, today you won,
You stopped me from being me,
You made me someone
I didn't want to be.

Dear fear, I have always wondered.
Why are you so strong?
Why do you hold me so tight,
Making me lose every fight.

Dear fear, No longer will I let you be
The holder of my destiny,
You will become a ghost,
And have no longer a host.

Dear fear, tomorrow things will change,
I won't be someone that hides under their bed,
I promise I will become
the ruler of my own world.
