Staring at the ground
I feel so dumb, How could I be so naive
To think you wouldn't leave.
I never gave my heart to anyone,
Because I knew it would end like this.
I never dared to love,
Because I knew it would tear me apart piece by piece.
But I took a risk with you,
I fell slowly for you,
And you threw me away,
When there was nothing from me left to take.
Now I'm a mess, and you don't care. I've learned to not make the same mistake. I'll close me heart behind metal doors, And never open them anymore.
