Ever since Hoseok threw up about a week after he and his beautiful boyfriend, Taehyung, made love, he knew. He knew because he had never done it before, he knew that he was one of the few men in the world that was fertile like that. His doctors told him when he was eighteen that something like this was possible for him, that nothing negative would ever come from this, even after he told his doctors he was gay. Well, that's actually how he found out he was fertile.

Still, he bought two tests; he wanted to be extra sure that was what it was and that it wasn't just a stomach bug. But when both tests came back positive, he cried. He curled up in the corner of the bathroom and cried, both tests in one hand. He cried because he was so scared that Taehyung would reject him, that he would toss him and their unborn child out on the street.

But Taehyung loved children. He always talked about having children with Hoseok one day, once they had stable jobs, a big house and had gotten married. Not right now. Sure, they have been together for almost six years, but they weren't ready for kids. They lived in an apartment and owned a cat and their jobs were not stable at all. Well, Taehyung's was stable. He was a high school history, but teachers' salaries were about as stable as a wooden boat in a hurricane. Hoseok himself worked as a nurse in the naval hospital on the military base about twenty minutes from their home.

For three months, Hoseok tiptoed around Taehyung. Of course, he didn't hide the morning sickness from his boyfriend; Taehyung would give him Sprite and something easy to eat and settle his stomach and told him to go back to bed. He went to doctor's appointments on his days off and when Taehyung was working.

Hoseok wasn't alone during his first trimester; another nurse that worked in pre-op, Park Jimin, was like Hoseok, except he was married to a CEO of a record company named Min Yoongi and was six months pregnant with their second son. Still, he recommended his own doctor, Kim Seokjin, to him and helped him schedule appointments and often checked in on him.

Hoseok looked on the monitor as Jin performed an ultra-sound to be able to see the baby. "See, there's the legs and... Wait." Jin leaned forward a little to look at the monitor, eyes going wide once he saw that there were two babies instead of one. "Congrats, Hoseok! You're having twins!" he said happily as he cleaned off Hoseok's abdomen.

He pulled down his oversized grey shirt and sat up, tears brimming his eyes. Jin looked over at him with a curious glint in his eye, frown on his face. "What's the matter? You're not happy?" he asked and Hoseok sniffled, gladly accepting a tissue from Jin. "It's just... He doesn't know. We can barely remember to feed ourselves; how can we take care of twins? I'm so scared, hyung," he groaned as he buried his face in his hands.

Jin sighed and held Hoseok's hands in his own, forcing him to look at him. "Listen, you need to tell him, Hoseok. You can't have an abortion and I know that you would never dream of it, but if worse comes to worse and you absolutely can't take care of them, my husband and I will adopt them. Joonie and I have always wanted kids. But please talk to him and come to a decision. Everything will be okay," he cooed and Hoseok smiled and hugged him. "Thank you so much."

"T-Taehyungie?" Hoseok stuttered as he watched Taehyung do the dishes after dinner. He glanced up from the sink with a raised eyebrow, obviously taking notice of the way his boyfriend sounded shaky and nervous. "Yeah, Angel? What's wrong?" he asked and turned off the sink, motioning Hoseok over to him.

Hoseok started to shake as Taehyung wrapped his arms around him, fingertips massaging his lower back. His boyfriend's frown deepened and he rested their foreheads together. "Hobi-hyung, tell me what's up," he whispered, lips brushing against Hoseok's. The older's eyes filled with tears, but he wouldn't let them fall as he took a deep breath and looked his boyfriend in the eye.

"Remember when I said my stomach was upset? And I refused to take medicine because I told you I was going to be fine?" he asked, nerves climbing through the roof as Taehyung nodded. "Well, I really wasn't sick, so don't worry. But... It was because... um..." Hoseok couldn't get the words out. Two simple words, but he was so scared. Taehyung pecked his lips and shushed him. "It's okay, Angel. Take your time," he mumbled and Hoseok closed his eyes and inhaled.

"I'm pregnant. With twins."

Silence.

When he opened his eyes, he was met with wide, scared brown eyes. Taehyung was completely frozen, and Hoseok couldn't hold back the tears anymore. "I'm sorry, Tae. I'm sorry," he sobbed, but he didn't think his boyfriend heard him until he gasped out, "How?" And Hoseok quickly explained everything to him.

After he explained, Taehyung's face paled and he looked like he was going to pass out. "Taehyung, I'm so sorry," Hoseok whispered, but Taehyung shushed him and sighed. "How... how far along are you?" he croaked. "I'm at the end of my first trimester, so... three months..." The younger's jaw tightened and Hoseok only cried harder.

"Please don't leave me, Taehyung! I'm just as scared as you are and I don't want to be alone! Please, please don't kick me out! I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry!" he cried and Taehyung cut him off with a kiss. It was a strong, loving kiss that filled Hoseok with a sense of reassurance. When he pulled away for air, Taehyung rested their foreheads together as a hand stroked the back of the older's neck.

"I'm not going to leave you, Angel. Yeah, I'm scared as hell, but I can't even imagine what you're going through. And they're my kids; our kids. If we need to, we can go live with my parents or your parents until we can find a house for our family," he said gently, moving a strand of hair from the older's face with a smile.

Hoseok smiled widely at him and pecked his lips once, twice, three times and blushed. "You really mean that?" he said bashfully and Taehyung nodded with his big boxy smile. "You're my love, my Angel. I don't want to be without you. We'll get through this together. It's going to be okay."

Taehyung's hands moved down to slip under the front of Hoseok's sweater, where a baby bump was already there. There was that fond smile on his face as he stared down at the older's belly, big hands caressing it gently. "I love you, Angel," he whispered and Hoseok nipped at his lip playfully. "I love you too."

About four months later, Hoseok was laying on the dark brown corner-couch in the living room of their new house. His hand rested on his swollen belly, lazily tracing random patterns into his with a finger. He had a huge smile on his face; he was going to tell Taehyung the genders today, even though he himself had known for a month.

It was a good thing they decided to paint the nursery baby blue and a very light yellow; those colors fit both girls and boys. The nursery had two white cribs on either side of the room, a white carpet, and cute stuffed animals; even some of their plushies from when they were little. They were so ready for the twins to get here.

"Honey, I'm home!" Taehyung yelled as soon as he opened the front door. Hoseok smiled and stood up slowly, yanking down the white t-shirt he had on as he walked over to meet his - now - fiancée. The younger man smiled as he saw the older and held his arms out for him. "Baby, I have to tell you something!" Hoseok said as he led Taehyung to the couch with a huge smile on his face.

Taehyung sat Hoseok down on the couch and sat next to him, both hands rubbing the sides of the older's belly. "What, Angel? What's wrong?" He immediately went into panic-mode, but calmed down when he noticed his fiancée laughing at him. "Calm down. Listen, we're having boys," Hoseok chuckled and Taehyung's eyes went wide. "Really!? Hyung, that's so awesome!" he cheered, then pressed his lips against Hoseok's.

"Can we name one Hansung? And... and the other Changmin?" Taehyung asked sheepishly as he moved down to his Hoseok's stomach, giggling slightly when one of the twins kicked his lips. Hoseok chuckled and nodded, running his fingers through the younger's hair. "I love those names."

Taehyung beamed and buried his face in Hoseok's inner thigh. "Ah, I'm so excited!" he whisper-yelled. "I love you so much."
