I Miss You

"Hoseok." I looked up from my spot on the couch to see five of the other members staring at me, all with bags in their hands. "What's up?" I asked, glancing at the sad look Jimin gave me. He held onto Jungkook's hand, while Namjoon and Jin sighed. "Listen, Hoseok. We know how chaotic everything's been, especially with you working on your mixtape," Yoongi said, adjusting his book bag on his shoulder. "Hyung, you're so sad now. Maybe if you spend time with Tae during our ten days off, you'll be you again," Jimin said quietly, glancing to one of the doors at the end of the hall.

They were right. With the comeback and my delay of the mixtape, I've been so stressed that I just couldn't find it in me to be cheery anymore. Part of that also has to do with my [discreet] boyfriend Taehyung, who was probably still asleep. Our busy schedules have exhausted us to the point where none of us can spend quality time with each other anymore. It's taken a toll on Taehyung; he's not as spritely and is very quiet now. Everyone's been concerned with the both of us.

Jin rested his hand on my shoulder with a sad smile. "Listen, just use this time to regroup and relax with Taehyung. We miss two-thirds of the Sunshine Line," he said, patting me gently. I sighed and nodded, giving them all reassuring smiles. "I will. Have fun, you guys. Text us," I said as they all filed out of the dorm.

About thirty minutes after the guys left, I heard a door down the hall open, then heavy footsteps on the wooden floors. I decided to keep eating my cold noodles and let Taehyung do his own thing before asking him to join me in my cartoon-watching. He was a lot like Yoongi in the mornings; quiet, slow and sometimes slightly grumpy.

Long arms wrapped themselves around me, making me smile a little as I stared down at my bowl of noodles. Taehyung nuzzled his face in my neck, letting out a content sigh. "Good morning, Tae Baby," I beamed, leaning back into his touch. "Morning, Hobi-hyung," came a muffled reply, as well as a few kisses on my neck.

"Come join me," I whined, earning a chuckle from Taehyung. He let go and walked around the couch as I set my noodles on the coffee table and leaned back, patting my lap for Taehyung. My boyfriend smiled and sat down on my lap, giggling when I hugged him tight. "God, I've missed your giggles," I sighed, burying my face in his stomach.

Taehyung had gained some weight and worked out a little less, resulting in his abs fading. He now had a cute little stomach which he didn't like, but I always expressed how much I liked it whenever I had the chance. "How've you been?" I asked, smiling against his stomach when he ran his fingers through my hair.

"I've been lonely." Of course he was. We didn't share a room-I sometimes found him asleep in my bed on nights he got too lonely, but that was about it. His fingers weaved themselves through my hair, stilling their motions as Taehyung let out a big, shaky sigh. My arms pulled him even closer as I buried my face deeper into his stomach. "Me too, Tae."

Of course I've been lonely without Taehyung. Yeah, we see each other every day, but work is different. At work, we're too focused on getting the beat right, the steps perfect, pitches correct. There isn't room for sweet kisses, silly meaningless words. Not when I'm the dance leader. I felt like shit every time I've called Taehyung out for messing up. I know he knows why he does it, but he pushes himself too hard sometimes. That's all we've been doing lately; working ourselves to be perfect for our fans. Only small words of encouragement are all we give each other nowadays.

I miss stolen kisses, meaningful compliments and sweet smiles. I miss stressful hours spent in my studio interrupted by a cheery Taehyung bringing me lunch or dinner and forcing me to relax. Those days, I'd be the one in his lap as he told me about his shopping trip with Jimin or Jin or about a movie he saw, or even his recording sessions. I especially miss coming home to find him in my bed, fast asleep as he held onto my pillow tight. I could easily just crawl into bed and cuddle him as I drifted off to sleep with him.

Sometimes, Taehyung would have nightmares and crawl into bed with me. I missed those nights.

"Hyung, I miss you," he whispered, placing a kiss onto my forehead. I looked up to see his cute pout, and I nodded and smiled. "Well, we have all break." I hadn't seen a smile cross Taehyung's face in a while.
