"Goodnight, my nocturnal loves! This is V from TaeTae FM..."

All of the stress weighing Hoseok down immediately lifted from his shoulders at the sonorous voice now dancing around his room. His laptop, which displayed the podcast, was hooked up to his surround-sound speakers, which hid in all four corners of the room.

Hoseok himself was sat on his bed, underneath his little display of twinkling fairy lights, laptop at the foot of his bed while he stared out the window. This was how he spent almost all of his lonely nights; curled up on his bed while the voice of his podcast crush talked about random things and shared his personal playlist with his listeners.

TaeTae FM only started a few months ago, but the lonely man fell quickly for the podcast and did his best to never miss it, even when he was exhausted beyond comprehension.

This V character attracted Hoseok the same way the sun attracted the planets. The way he spoke passionately about his hobbies and dreams left the man wanting to know more about him. Each episode revealed more about V and what type of person he was; Hoseok wanted to say that he loved what he knew about him.

"Tonight, I want to do a little something different," V said, causing Hoseok's head to perk up. "On the comment section of the site, send in your favorite song with the hashtag 'Stream4V.' I want to know what type of songs you guys are into!"

Almost immediately, the comments were flooding with song requests. Hoseok sat and watched the numerous song requests, hearing V giggle as he listed some of them, promising the anonymous person that he would play it later.

What song could Hoseok send in? Should he send something of his own creation in, or just a song from his brain that keeps playing on repeat? Part of him wanted to impress V, since the man had such an expansive knowledge and appreciation for music. Part of him wanted to use this as an excuse to be noticed, and another part of him didn't want to do anything.

Instead, Hoseok went to the TaeTae FM Twitter page and DM'ed him a link for his SoundCloud, asking V to kindly play Blue Side.

It took almost an hour for some sort of sign that he even visited the SoundCloud.

"This next one is by a local anonymous artist! He asked me to play his song, Blue Side, so here you go! I'm excited to hear this as much as you guys are!"

Hoseok couldn't help the smile spreading across his face as Blue Side played. He felt immense pride in himself for making that song - making the album - and sending V his SoundCloud. A giggle escaped his mouth while he wiggled around on his bed, wishing he could tell someone about his small accomplishment.

His smile faded a little when he realized he had no one to talk to.

Instead, he turned to the picture on his bedside table. It was a picture of him and his best friends; they all moved away and became famous, leaving Hoseok behind like they always did.

"Jin-hyung, Yoongi-hyung, Jimin...I made it," Hoseok mumbled, resting his chin on his knees.

"That was...Wow. Whoever you are, I love this. You're so talented! I hope you don't mind me listening to the rest of your SoundCloud."

Hoseok smiled dopily to himself. "No, I don't mind. Listen all you want."

"Wait, you're saying he DM'ed you and complimented your music?" Jungkook asked.

Hoseok was on his daily coffee-date with his only friend, Jeon Jungkook; he was the only person who stayed after everyone became famous. Just like the older man, Jungkook stayed in the comfort of the smaller side of the city, owning his own gym. Hoseok worked as a marriage councellor.
