I decided not to turn this into a book. I'm sorry, but I didn't see a point in this being an entire book.

Seoul, South Korea; the largest, most heavily-populated city in the entire peninsula, home to pop stars and famous figures of the like. The city is always awake and teeming with life; there is no time for sleep. Everyone is coming, going, socializing, shopping, eating and sight-seeing. Seoul is a city of wonder.

No one is suspicious of those who hide in plain sight. No one suspects anything about those who are gifted with supernatural - magical - abilities that they keep secret.

No one questions why those who harass women or men at bars wake up the next morning with whacky-colored skin or animal appendages. They pay no mind to back-alley fights fueled by pops and flashes of light; both fighters returning to the hustle with injuries no fist can make. They don't notice the small, knowing smirks shared among other strangers on the streets.

And they don't suspect the Magicians.

The Magicians were the street performers that showcased their magic abilities to entertain the public. They would apparate, transfigure objects, play harmless spells on children's parents, or even transfigure themselves. The animagi would walk around in their animal forms and play with children.

Overall, the Magicians were loved throughout Seoul and spectators would leave them feeling better about life.

One such Magician was Kim Taehyung. He was a magic man in his early twenties and pretty well-known in the face of the public and especially loved children. He lived in a pretty apartment with a pet serval, who he hid from the landlord by transfiguring him into a human named Park Jimin. Jimin rather liked being human and preferred to stay in that form for days at a time, simply because he could go out and give Taehyung hugs.

Taehyung hid his wand - a ten-inch, ebony wand with a dragon heartstring core - in plain sight by transfiguring it into a black pen, which he kept tucked into the collar of his shirt. During his street performances, he would always show it out on display, then slip it into his sleeve when he was done.

He was also an Animagus; he was a black timberworlf - alpha, of course - and loved to patrol the city, nuzzling and playing with children in parks.

He was a very charismatic fellow and lived for the reactions of the crowd. He loved how he could display his magic, but still had a void in his heart not even Jimin could fill.

Taehyung was lonely.

Not even the joy of being himself in the eye of he public was enough to make him happy the way a lover could, and Jimin understood that.

In his human form, Jimin was often Taehyung's sage and gave him really helpful advice.

He was currently wrapped around Taehyung as the man stood on the balcony, looking out over the city.

"Tae, go out there and meet people," Jimin urged, pressing light, platonic kisses down the man's bare back. "Jimin, you know that's difficult for me," was the gruff reply, along with a defeated sigh. "Normal people wouldn't dare to marry or love someone like me."

Jimin just rolled his eyes. "Just try, okay? For me?" he purred, spinning the taller around to face him. How could Taehyung stay upset when he gazed into the eyes of his sweet, yet very strange, pet?

He smiled lightly and patted Jimin's fluffy black hair. "Fine. For you. Be good, okay? I left a shopping list on the counter. Love you," he cooed, pecking Jimin's forehead. "Have a good day, TaeTae! Love you, too."
