The world has never been perfect. Hell, the whole universe has never been perfect, and it probably will never be.
War, crimes, hate, everything.
That's why Star Fleet has made it their mission to fix the world. To rid it of hunger, hate, and everything in between. There is one thing that has been difficult to fix.
Health.
You have been a Star Fleet officer for a few years now, and your friends and family could not be more proud.
Things like making daily video logs have been especially fun.
You even found yourself rewatching the first one multiple times since you always felt that was the first time you were actually happy during your first day of being a member of Star Fleet. The day you were assigned to the Enterprise.
Log #1 Stardate 2248.2~
Ok...how do I start this? Wait. Is it on?
Oh! Oh ok, here we go.
Hi to whoever watches this. Well, this is my first day on the Enterprise.
Its...so much bigger and way more shinny than I thought. I just....cant believe it.
Im actually just waiting to make my first mistake, but so far I haven't done anything wrong.
I havent met many people yet, but I will be sure to make plans to. I heard everyone is so nice here, and I hope theyre like that with me.
Im off duty today, but Im heading down to where the warp core is since, well, that my job.
But....yeah...Im going to just...end this
The video ended with you reaching your hand over to the button that stopped the log.
You smiled and sighed as you looked at the screen. This was the second time you have watched it today, but it still makes you happy to know you actually enjoy your job.
Standing up, you looked over to Pandora. Pandora was your alien pet that looked more like a fly trap. Most people thought it was disturbing, and down right a stupid pet to have, but you thought otherwise.
You found him on a Class M planet near the Drozana Base. His first impression was a little terrifying to you, but you later found the plant to just be an adorable alien that couldn't help if it looked as if it could kill someone.

Ok ok, wait.
Your figure in the camera leaned over to pick something up.
I found... This thing on the planet during our latest mission. I actually have no Idea what it is but... It's so cute.
In your hands, you hold a small pot that had a green flytrap type plant inside.
Captain Kirk informed me that I could in fact keep him.. Her? I don't know.
That was always another log that you rewatched sometimes, being glad that it would always be there.
You walked over to your plant Pandora, named for the fact when you first found it, you had been reading a book on Pandora's box.
You smiled at the plant until you heard someone walk in.
"Hello, Bones. What can I do for you?"
The tall dark haired man in a blue medical shirt stood in your door way. He held an electronic clipboard with a pen to match, and his hair seemed uncared for like always when it came to being brushed. You always assumed his hair started off neat in the mornings, but it always seemed to go off the more he worked.
"Hello, Y/N. I need to test you for any diseases, infections, foreign bacteria..."
He trailed off his sentence.
"Is that it?" you asked to see if he was going to continue.
"What? Oh sorry, I felt myself gradually care less and less for saying the same thing I've said to thirty three other people today."
You scoffed, acting hurt at his words.
"So I guess you hate the number thirty four?"
"No, you are actually one of the few people I have enjoyed talking to today, besides Scotty. Who was number one."
"Ah. Well do you need to test me now because Im pretty sure I havent been tested yet."
"No. Youll just have to come by the Medical bay sometime this week.
"Alright, Bones. Is that all?" you giggled.
"Um....N-yeah. Yeah. I have a lot to do so Im going to have to get going if I want to get all my work done."
"Ok. It was nice talking to you, and Ill try and stop by tomorrow."
"Perfect."
You closed the door behind him after waving goodbye since you had to get ready to go to your shift soon anyways.
