"One, Mr. Scott will put a hold on your  duties until your return to the Enterprise."

"Got it," you replied.

"Second, before leaving the Enterprise, you must record a personal log and submit it for records of your personal leave."

"Understood," you replied again as you placed the last item of clothing you needed in your suitcase.

"Third, you are required to take a communicator in the event you are in destress, or the enterprise requires you. Even on leave the enterprise and her crew are still responsible for your life and blah blah blah..."

"Makes sense." You patted your pocket where your issued communicator was held.

"And four, have a nice time. I mean, when was the last time you got to see the Great Pyramids! You know...they were a Russian Invention."

"Were they? Cause last I read they-"

"Aboslutely." Chekov smiled and put the list of regulations that were mandatory to read off to any crew members leaving the vessel for any reason surrounding personal leave time down on your desk.

"Lastly, as a two person visit, either of you are allowed to request guards to accompany you incase of danger."

"Mr. Chekov, guards aren't nessecary when visiting Earth. Its Earth, not romulus or Remus."

"You never know. Though I suppose not very many people visit the great wonders of Earth anymore, because who cares."

"I suppose you're right about that. Wait...two person visit?"

Chekov brushed the curly hair from his face. "Yes, um, it says that the leave has been requested by Doctor McCoy, Chief Medical Officer of the USS Enterprise. The leave consisting of One, Y/N L/N, and himself, Doctor Leonard McCoy."

You raised an eyebrow as you placed you suitcase from your bed to the floor beside you. You couldnt say you were surprised, or disappointed in the matter.

"Well, I guess that sounds right."

Chekov kept the list in his hands this time as he looked down at your suitcase.

"Is that enough for you?"

You looked down as well at the luggage.

"Why wouldn't it be?"

Chekov made eye contact with you again before laughing. "I dont know, I just have always heard of women taking their whole wardrobe with them in these situations. "

"Only in movies Mr. Chekov." You laughed back.

"Mr. Chekov, you say," he chimed, "you're about the only person who calls me that. Makes me feel special." He crossed his arms in power as he grinned.

You smiled back at his childishness.

"Well, dont forget to record your log, and I'll leave you to it."

He turned to walk out, carrying the list as he waved. You waved back as you thanked him.

Turning you attention to the computer, you sat down in front of it.

"Computer, record log," you said aloud. The red light above the computer lit up to indicate it had started recording, the screen turned on to show your face.

"This is Y/N L/N. Member of the USS Enterprise Crew. I am recording this to inform anyone that I am taking a short personal leave."

Your door notified you of a visitor. You turned you attention towards it.

"Enter."

The door opened to reveal Bones. You smiled and turned back to the computer.

"I will be accompanied by Doctor Leonard McCoy. The leave has also been expected to be no longer than three days. End log."

Leonard stood near the door, keeping from entering the view of the camera, but continued to walk in as you ended the log.

"Well I came to tell you that I'm takin' part of this leave as well, but it seems you already know."

"Yeah, Mr. Chekov told me as he was briefing me. Didnt tell me why, though."

Bones, who had walked in and stood in the middle of the room, picked up your luggage.

"Well, for someone in...your situation. A doctor on sight is needed. At least according to me."

"But dont I have this pretty bracelet now to tell you is something is wrong?"

"Well, even if you do, me not being there would make it pointless anyways. But I guess if you dont want me to go so badly then," he began to place the luggage back down,"I'll inform the captain of the change."

"No, Bones, it's fine. I want you there."

He smirked and continued to hold the luggage.

"Well alright then. Let's get going. Our shuttle is ready to take us to the nearest post. From there we will get on the ship heading for Earth."

He motioned to the door, allowing you to go first. You smiled.
