You were in your bathroom, in pain. Recently, you had been steering clear of any mirrors for more than obvious reasons. Your chest was in pain, and was getting worse everyday, it seemed. It wasnt awful pain, but bad enough to notice.
The last time you looked at your chest in the mirror, the skin above your heart was turning an unsettling black color.
You looked into your own eyes through the mirror. It was strange. You normally dont notice anything, but this time you could see fear. You could see sadness in your own eyes, and it scared you knowing they were your own. You were the one who was scared, and you were the one with Contrimtia.
You stood straight and reached for the bottom of your shirt to pull it up slightly. You jerked back slightly as you saw the black coloring had reached past the left side of your rib cage. Your other hand came up to cover your mouth in shock.
"Computer, call Leonard."

Bones sat at his desk. He had finally set up the paperwork to send Pandora to Miss Evergreen. He had received a message back from her the next morning where she accepted the responsibility of Pandora for you. She also asked McCoy is he would ask you to call her sometime.
Bones smiled, loving the idea that he helped bring you two back together, knowing how much you mean to each other. The only thing was that he dint tell her about your condition. He thought he would leave that up to you to decide on if she should know.
His smile faded as his eyes drifted to the notebook that contained your last wishes. He kept the book out in the open on his desk, but started to regret it as he sometimes catches himself looking at it for minutes on end, wondering what the next wish is.
The intercom interrupted his thinking as it beeped to signal a call from someone on the ship.
"Yes?"
"Bones..."
McCoy sat up in his chair to lean forward when he heard your voice.
"Y/N? Whats wrong?"
You stayed silent, lost of any words a you continued to look at your chest.
"Y/N? Answer, please. Are you okay?" He awaited you answer.
"Its spreading."

You reached the medbay after Bones ordered you to show up after you ended the call. The medbay was the last place you wanted to be considering the last time you went, you were told of your condition, but you trusted McCoy and had to go.
You waited as you sat on one of the examination tables.
You saw Bones next to the table, ignoring you for the moment as he pulled up your file on his tablet. His eyes were fixated on the screen as they looked focused and concerned.
He looked up at you, signaling that he had finished opening your file.
Smiling gently at you he walked over to you.
"Show me."
You paused for a second, but began to pull your shirt up slightly to show some of the black area. As you did, he frowned slightly because he had never seen it until now, and wasnt sure what to expect.
Bones reached out his hand, but was stopped as you grabbed his handed before he could reach you.
"Dont. It hurts."
"I'm sorry. I won't," he replied as he held onto your hand.
You nodded in thank as you slowly let go of your hand. His stayed in the air for a few more second before finally dropping his to his side once more.
"Alright," Bones said quickly afterwards, " Lets see what we can do."
