You woke up.Like any other morning. You woke up.
The false sunlight that the came from your window shined in brightly through the blinds. Casting lines of light across the room at different distances.
You opened your eyes slowly, noticing you had went from leaning on the headboard to being curled up in a ball in the center of your king sized bed.
Moving even slightly caused you to crack your neck and back, allowing you the mobility to stretch farther out. You let out a slow breath at the feeling of all the muscles moving after the long night.
You rolled over on your back. Looking up towards the ceiling, but felt something under your head.
Lifting your head up revealed the small notebook from last night, given to you by Bones.
You frowned sadly at it as you reached to grab it.
The cover was dark blue, allowing you to become lost in the absorbing color as your memories flooded back to you as to why you had the book.
You stood up quickly, wanting to leave this trance you were stuck in.
Standing up quickly strangely didn't leave you light headed. All that happened was it gave you your feeling in your legs back.
Now being able to use your legs properly, you walked over to your desk. The same desk that every room was shocked with. Placing the notebook in the center you sat down in the rolling chair, reaching for the container of pens and pencils.
Where they were not commonly used anymore, you still found physical utensils to be quite useful, especially since you were given a paper notebook.
You pulled the container closer to you, fishing through the numerous pencils, markers, and extra pens, until you found one that could clip to the cover of the notebook.
After the search for what seemed lime buried treasure, you opened the notebook to the first, fresh page.
You smiled, loving the feel of new paper, but it quickly faded as you mind almost immediately went back to the horrible thoughts of your disease.
Without hesitation, you began your list.
(I completely forgot this book existed, but... I back. Hallo! If anyone is still here 😂 P. s my Spock book has reached 40k read. Holy shit!)
