After the interview I had to take the girls out. They had endured a long interview and I knew that i would need to talk to then about Nadya and how life would be. honestly speaking the whole break up thing was so far of from what I imagined we would be talking about. I didn't even know that she was having issues and honestly I thought that we were on great terms. If the kids had any informationb then they would have to talk to me about it.
Tati, "so I think that we should go to forever 21 first and then maybe Zara. Kristen showed me these amazing shirts that she got there and Chai did that they have this new boutique that sells nice clothes"
Kayla, "I'm hungry. can we please go and get something to eat?"
Me, "okay, where do you want to go'? I was going to have a family dinner tonight so that everyone could talk and I can explain the trip and what I expect from everyone"
Kayla, "uncle j come on. We're all getting tired of this run around with you. No one wants to go to dinner anymore because it's just awkward. Every time we go and eat there is a fight between granny and Nadya, is annoying"
Me, "so are we never supposed to have dinner again, just because two people don't get along. That's just to crazy and is not how I was raised"
Tati, "it's just hard for us because we don't know who to side with, granny has raised us for the past couple years but you are like a dad to us. nadya has been there to raise us and she's like the mom that we never had, if you would just make it clear as to who we are supposed to be down with then there wouldn't be all these problems now"
Me, "what are you taking about? Why would you need to side with people? "
Kayla, "you are the head of the family and people look to you for all final decisions. I don't understand why you're not saying that one person is wrong"
Me, " I plan on keeping Nadya in my life so there is going to have to be some type of compromise. I'm confident that something can be done to resolve this matter"
Tati, "I highly doubt that. The way that granny talks about Nadya it's clear that they won't ever be on good terms. With grandma you just have to choose your battles and this isn't one of them. She's always had problems with significant others"
Kayla, "that's true. Look athow she gaged Nicole after Andre brought her around. Nicole was do set by Andre never stood up for her and then she left. I wouldn't want to fame that abuse all the time. Good thing I've never bright anyone important around her. She's to judgemental"
Me, "what people are you thinking about bringing home to see grandma. Tati didn't tell me that you were dating anyone"
Kayla, "Tati lives a better life than I do. She's got more boys blowing up her phone than I do. If I were you uncle I would watch out for the boys around this one"
Me, "yall think that I'm sleeping in you two. better believe that I follow both of you on social media. I know how you two can be into doing big things but let me enjoy your youth for a little bit more"
Kayla, "if I had a boyfriend I woukd respect you enough to let you met him, Plus I know that you day that you carry a big stuck but your really sweet and caring, I can work with that"
Tati, "Kayla that's a lie. You were talking to Marcus for about a month and he was never in the house with Uncle. don't even go there with that fake stuff and try and throw me under the bus"
Kayla, "How was I throwing you under the bus? I never even said your name"
Me, "It's just guilt that's taking over you. So who are you seeing Tati? I know that you try and sneak out when I'm not there but keep me informed, as Kayla stated I'm clearly not a true threat to anyone"
