Ch. 36: Trying On Dresses

Shailene POV:

I take a deep breath as I walk into the Tiffany & Co. store with Jane, my mom, Zoe, Clover, Clementine, Jasmine, and Arabella.
Randy Fenoli (A friend of mine, also host of Say Yes To The Dress) approaches us.
"Hello Shailene. Are you ready?" He asks me.
"As I'll ever be."
They take us to a waiting room outside of the Fitting Rooms.
He takes me into the Fitting Room, hands me a bunch of dresses and walks out.
I try the first one on and walk out for my family to see.
"What we have here is a Strapless Jovani Beaded Ball Gown." Randy says.
"I don't really like this one." I say.
"I don't think it fits her style." My mom says.
I nod.
"Try this one." Clementine says.
I take it and walk back to the Fitting Room and try it on.
I walk back out.
"This one is too tight and it's too poofy." I say.
They nod.
"Bella, Jasmine, want to choose a dress for me?" I ask.
Both of them nod and get up excitedly.
They walk out and come back with one dress.
I take it with me to try it on.
I walk out and everyone looks at it.
"Now here we have a Lace and Organza High Low Wedding Dress." Randy says.
"I love it." I say.
"Wait! Try it with these." Megan and Zoe say.
They hand me a box.
I open it and see Black Maxstar 777 Back Zipper Canvas Wedge Heels Shoes. I smile and put them on.
"Okay. I'm officially in love this dress!" I exclaim.
Everyone cheers, Arabella and Jasmine high five.
"So Shailene, are you saying yes to the dress?" Randy asks laughing.
"Heck yeah, I'm saying yes to the dress!"
"YAY!" Everyone yells.

Theo and I walk into the Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden.
"I love it. We can have a big heart-shaped arch right there and it can have little swirls of the White, Red, and Black roses and.." I trail off.
Theo laughs and kisses my cheek.
"What?" I ask him.
"You're so beautiful when you get in planning and excited mode." Theo says.
"Well I'm about to get gorgeous." I say flipping my hair.
Theo smiles.
"Can't wait." He says making me smile.

I sit down and Theo sits in my lap.
"Get off me Theo. You're heavy." I say.
"But I want the glory today."
"Get off Theo."
"No, I'm good."
"Theo." I whine.
He stands, pulls me up, sits down, and pulls me into his lap.
"I can't wait to see you in your suit." I say.
"I can't wait to see you in your dress. Sneak a peek?"
"No. Zoe has my dress, and you know damn well she will beat your ass."
He sighs and I kiss him.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too."
He turns me, so my legs are on either side of him, and put his hand under my thigh and lifts me up.
We begin kissing while Theo walks up the stairs.
He tries to open my bedroom door, but fails miserably.
"Theo." I moan.
He tries again and then fails.
I giggle.
He tries again and he's successful.
I giggle as he pumps one hand in the air while the other is holding me up.

I'm trying to finish this book and put up the sequel.
And did anybody else watch TFIOS?
I watched it at midnight on Thursday and I was crying so freaking hard.
Sure it was a school night and I slept through first period math (which I hate).
But it was a win-win situation
