Ch. 3: Chemistry Testing

Shai POV:

Zoe and I are talking while Miles is right between us. Ansel and Theo are sitting together.

"But that dress would look so cute on you." Zoe says.

"Yea. She's right Shai. It would look really hot on you." Miles says.

"Shut up." I say laughing.

Theo is helping me carry my stuff to my room.

"Theo, let me help." I plead.

"No Shai. I won't."

"Ugh. Fine."

We walk to the lady at the front desk.

"Hi we're here for the--" I start.

"Honey Moon Suite." The lady finishes.

I turn bright red.

"Uh.. No. I am Shailene Woodley and this is Theo James."I say.

"Oh! Right." She says and hands us two cards. "Your keys."

We thank her and walk to the elevators.

"She is right, I'd make a pretty damn sexy husband." Theo says.

"Oh yea, I forgot, one of your darker sides, Dirty Jokes." I say giggling.

We are neighbors so he helps me into my room and leaves. 

I am really falling for this guy.

Shailene get your head in the game. You don't have time to have your heart broken again. Not by another version of Derrick.

Derrick is my ex-boyfriend, he cheated on me but he had three other girls. I didn't know how bad my break up with him was until other men started asking me out and I turned them down. 

But there's something about Theo that makes me want to tell him everything. There's something about his sexy smile, his muscles, and his sweet personality. 

I put my hazel-blonde hair in a bun.

I then get a text message.

(Shai is gonna be the bold text. So anytime there is texting going on Shai is bold. ;) )

Hey Shai, I need you and the cast first thing tomorrow morning for the training and the Chemistry testing -Neil B.

What time?

8a.m

Okay. See you tomorrow.

I unpack my things. I set my clock for 7a.m and get into my bed. I fall into a dreamless sleep.

I get up the next morning, thanks to my alarm. I take a quick shower. I change into a green shirt and jeans. I pack my black Monrow Skinny Cuff Sweatpants, my gray tank top, a sports' bra, and my sneakers into my tote bag. I put on flipflops and by 7:30a.m, I am walking out the house.

I hear a faint snore coming from Theo's rooms. 

I knock on his door.

"Theo. Wake up!" I exclaim.

I continue banging then I see a made coming down the hall.

"Hi, um... I was wondering if you had a key, my husband is asleep, and I left the key inside." I say.

"Oh, sure honey and keep it." She says.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

I swipe the card and the light turns green.

I open the door and walk into Theo's room. He is in there shirtless and in basketball shorts.

"Theo!" I exclaim.

He jumps awake. 

"Theo, we have to be on set in 25 minutes!" I say.

"Oh shit!" He yells he runs into the bathroom and five minutes later he is dressed. 

I smile.

"Now let's go." I say tugging his arm. 

We run outside and the maid walks out a room.

"Your husband is Theo James!?" She exclaims.

"Sorry, we're in a hurry. Bye!" I say and run off pulling Theo with me. 

When we get in the elevator there is no way for me to escape the question.

"Husband?" Theo asks me smirking.

"Well. I had no other way to get into your apartment, so I just told her you were my husband and she gave me a spare key." I say.

"Why not girlfriend or sister or something?" He ask chuckling a bit.

I Turn bright red and get angry. I turn away from him. He turns me back around.

"Shai, I'm kidding." He says. 

My anger fades.

Damn. My anger faded. That's really hard for someone to accomplish.

Theo POV:

Shailene and I are about to take the Chemistry test. We are doing the Chasm Love Scene again.

Shailene begins.

"Can I ask you something?" 

"Sure."

"What's your tattoo?"

"Do you wanna see it?"

She nods.

I turn around and take off my shirt and she touches my back, I feel tingles.

"It's amazing." She says. "The Factions. Why do you have all of them?"

"I don't want to be just one thing. I can't be. I wanna be Brave. And I wanna be Selfless. Intelligent and Honest. And Kind." I say.

I turn around to face her. Her green eyes are so exotic and bright. 

"Well, I'm still working on Kind." I says smiling a little. 

I have to kiss her now. 

I cup her face and kiss her. She wraps her arm around my neck.

"And cut!" Neil yells.

We pull back.

"That. Was. Breathtaking." Veronica says. "Now that was some heated Chemistry. Shai, Theo, amazing. Now go get dressed for training." 

That was not Tobias who was kissing, It was Theo. 

I know that at this moment, 

I am falling for my co-star Shailene Woodley.
