Ch. 7: Undeniable Love

Shailene POV:

I watch as they finish Theo's tattoo for the scene. Amazing what you can do with make up.
"Okay. So this is the first time doing the Chasm scene. On camera." Neil says. "Action!"
I begin. Again.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"What's you tattoo?"
"Do you wanna see it?"
I nod.
He turns around and takes off his shirt. I run my hand along the "tattoo."
"It's Amazing." I say. "The Factions. Why do you have all of them?"
"I don't want to be just one thing. I can't be. I wanna be Brave. And I want to be Selfless. Intelligent and Honest. And Kind." He says.
He turns around to face me. Then he smiles.
"Well, I'm still working on Kind." He says.
He cups my faces and kisses me. The kiss begins as longing but then it turns hungrier and desperate. Within each moment, Tris is slowly fading and Shailene is growing.
Neil waits a moment.
"Cut!" He yells. "Alright everyone. That's it for the day."

I have been tossing and turn. I look at the clock, 2:45a.m. I put on my black hoodie and walk out the door. I stand on the stairs in the front of the hotel.
I can't sleep because I keep thinking about Theo.
Rain starts to fall.
"Shai?" A voice says.
I turn to look at the person. Theo.
He sits next to me.
"Shai, what's wrong?" He asks me.
"I'm thinking about things." I say.
He hugs me. He cares about me.
"Theo." I say.
"Yes?" Theo replies.
"I think I love you. I'm just debating whether or not I should put my heart out on the line for you." I say.
I look into his eyes. We are centimeters away.
I look from his eyes to his lips.
I brings his face closer.
Millimeters away.
I close the space by pressing my lips to his.
Our lips moving in sync.
