Ch. 27: Nobody Loves Me

Shailene POV:

Derrick.
I back up a little bit.
"Derrick." I say.
"Shailene." Derrick says.
He tries to touch my hand but I don't let him.
"Come on Shailene." He pleads.
"No." I say firmly.
"I'm sorry Shailene. Don't you believe in second chances!"
"Yes. I do. And you don't deserve it."
"Shailene. I know I did some bad things. And I'm sorry. I was just dumb."
"Derrick, it was three other girls! You expect me to forgive you and take you back?!"
He nods and I slap him. Really hard.
"Ah! Shailene!" Derrick exclaims.
"You deserved it."
"Why won't you take me back?"
"Because. I do not give second chances to lying, cheating, dirty dogs! And I'm seeing someone."
"Who?"
"James Bond."
"Ha-ha. Seriously."
"I'm not telling you and I'm not giving you a second chance. So go somewhere else with that second chance crap."
I walk away.
He deserved it. He deserved worse than that crap.
It still hurt though.
Shai don't cry over some past guy.
I call Zoë.
"Hey come over. I need to find some pretty for tonight." I say.
"Be over in a minute."
And literally, she was at my door in a second.
I laugh and she pulls me to my closet.
By 7:50, I'm wearing a Peach Strapless Floral Lace Flare Dress, Beige Heels, and I have on lipgloss.
Zoe smiles at me.
"If you guys do anything, use protection." She says and walks out.
I blush and I hear a knock at the door.
I open it and there stands Theo in a suit and tie.
I giggle knowing my reference to the Justin Timberlake song.
He smiles at me and I link my arm with his.
"So where are we going?" I ask him.
"To see London." He replies.
I smile and get giddy inside.

Theo and I have gotten to ride on the Ferris wheel and eat. Now we are walking down a street.
"Oh My Gosh! That's the Big Ben!" I exclaim.
"I knew you would like it."
"Theo, let's take a picture! Please?"
"Alright. Fine."
I squeal and he laughs.
Theo talks to a lady and she takes my phone to take the picture.
Theo and I stand in front of the Big Ben. I kiss his cheek and she snaps the picture.
She hands me my phone.
"You two would look like a great couple." She says and walks away.
I blush.
"Let's take one of ourselves." Theo says.
I hold the phone up, so it gets both of us. Theo kisses my cheek and I snap the picture.
I blush furiously.
I send him the one of him kissing my cheek and he smiles.
I make the one of me kissing his cheek his Caller ID picture and he does the same with the other picture.
We sit down on a bench.
"Tonight's a full moon." I say leaning my head on his shoulder.
"Yes. That why I wanted to come here." Theo replies.
"It's beautiful. Don't say anything cheesy. It'll ruin the moment."
He laughs.
"I don't need to say anything." Theo says.
"What? You enjoy silence." I say laughing.
"No. Not necessarily. Not when I'm doing certain things."
"You're so dirty."
We laugh.
"But Handsome, Funny, Sweet, Caring, and Kind is a perfect package." I say.
"Nobody's perfect." Theo says smiling.
"Then I guess you're nobody." I say.
I pause.
"Nobody loves me." I say jokingly.
"I do love you." Theo replies.
I kiss him and he kisses back.
I see a few flashes from cameras but I don't care.
Let the whole world know that I'm dating the world's second and sexiest Agent 007 A.K.A Theo James.
