"why are you smiling so much?" rydel squishes her eyebrows together, confused as she watches me type rapidly.
i shrug my shoulders with a shy smile. "i think i met someone."
"what?" rydel gasps. "who? who? who?"
"calm down," i chuckle, shoving her off me. "i said think, but we've been talking for a few days now. she's flying down to california, she might even come to one of our concerts."
"is she pretty, is she nice? what's her name? tell me, tell me, tell me!"
"rydel relax." i laugh out loud. "i'm not saying anything until i know what terms we're on."
"fine then, be a meanie." she sticks out her tongue and crosses her arms over her chest. "come on, we've got soundcheck in twenty minutes."
she walks out of the living room and i see my phone light up, i reach for it in hopes it was laura.
