Damaged. // Jasper Hale

Chapter 6

The next day I got dressed and ran downstairs grabbing a piece of toast. I munched on it quickly before running out the front door and seeing Jasper. Luckily dad left early this morning. Jasper got out of the car and smiled when he saw me running towards him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist spinning us around.

I giggled and he put me down before I pressed my lips to his. "Good mornin darlin" he said with his accent and I smiled before pressing my lips to his again. "Morning" I replied before he opened my door to the jeep and I got in before he hopped in the drivers side. He grasped my hand in his cold one and drove to school.

He pulled into school and I noticed not many people were here. We got out and Jasper wrapped his arm around my shoulders protectively. I leaned into his embrace as we walked into the school. I walked to my locker and grabbed out my books as Jasper walked to his. After about half an hour the bell rang and everyone went to first class.

Conveniently Jasper and I had history together. We were learning about WW II and today we were watching a movie about it. Jasper and I walked into class and a together at the very back. He grasped my hand into his under the table as the movie started and I smiled at him. "I remember when World War 2 ended. All the joy people felt" he said.

I giggled and felt my phone vibrate. I grabbed it from my pocket and saw a text from dad. I opened it after hiding my phone under the desk.

"I'm gonna take you to meet my family in the next few days" Jasper whispered to me and I looked at him shocked. "What? But what if they eat me or hate me or I-""Shhh, my love they will love you. Alice has already told them all about you and Bella" Jasper replied gently taking my hand into his.

"Bella?" I asked confused crunching my eyebrows together. "Yeah. Alice had a vision of the two of you" he replied and I nodded. The class carried on and I spent the whole day wondering about meeting Jasper's family. What if they suck me dry? What if it's a trap? What if they hate me or don't approve?

After school Jasper took me to a field filled with beautiful flowers. "I come here when I need to get away or when I need to think" Jasper said as we sat down. "It's beautiful here" I said as I looked around. "Before I met you I was planning on leaving" he said as he laid back onto the grass. "Why?" I asked as I climbed into his lap straddling him.

"Because. It's hard to be in a house with 3 couples and feel the overwhelming love they had for each other. For the last 30 years I even doubted that I'd find a mate that would accept me for me. So I wanted to leave to Alaska or somewhere but Alice convinced me to stay so I did and the next day I met you. So I'm glad I stayed because Ms Swan, you have been the best thing to walk into my life "Jasper explained and I gave him a soft smile.

I leaned down and kissed him eagerly and pulled away. "I love you" I whispered as I rested my forehead to his. "I love you more my love" he said tenderly kissing my lips. "I should get going" I said standing up. "I'll run you home" Jasper said before lifting me onto his back. He sprinted off to the edge of the woods near my house.

I hopped off his back and kissed him before walking to my house. I opened the front door and walked inside seeing dad in the couch with Bella. "Your home late" dad said looking at his watch. "Yeah sorry. I was with Jasper" I replied putting my dag on one of the dining chairs. "What are you dating now?" He asked and I bit my bottom lip.

"Umm yeah we are" I said nervously as I ran a hand through my brown locks. "Me and Edward are going out too" Bella said from beside dad and he muted the TV. "Wait wait wait! You two have boyfriends?!" Dad said shocked as he looked at both of us confused. "Yeah" Bella and I said at the same time.

"Aren't they like brothers or cousins or something?!" Dad said looking at me. "Well they aren't actually related and don't even have the same last name so there isn't anything wrong with it" Bella said awkwardly fiddling with her moon stone ring on her finger. "Ahh I don't know girls, they seem really off" dad said shaking his head.

"Have you actually met them?" I replied folding my arms. "Well I think I-""dad" I said arching my eyebrow at him. "No I haven't met them" he said lowly and I smirked. "Exactly. So you don't know them. You can meet Jasper tomorrow because he's picking me up to meet his family" I said before walking upstairs to my room and closing the door.

I felt a rush of wind and turned to see Jasper there. I smiled and walked over to him wrapping my arms around his torso nuzzling my face into his chest. He wrapped his arms around me leaning down kissing my head. I looked up at him and gave a soft smile before pulling away from our embrace and rested my hands on his chest.

"I need to change then I'll cuddle with you" I said and he nodded before disappearing out the window. I threw my brown hair into a messy bun and slipped on an oversized red flannel with some grey pyjama shorts underneath. I leant out the window and saw Jasper. "You can come up now" I whispered and after the moment I said it he was in front of me

I giggled and lead him over to my bed lying down. I rested my head on his chest and he wrapped his arm around my waist securely. Jasper pulled the cover over me and I snuggled into him more. "Jasper, would you ever turn me?" I mumbled as I looked at the moon light in my room. "If I had no other choice then yes" he said squeezing my side gently.

I nodded and closed my eyes falling asleep.
