I walked beside Bella as she stared out the window at dads. "You've noticed it too?" I said looking at the snow and Bella nodded. "It's only a matter of time" She said. I turned and looked at Cecilia who was laughing as Seth pulled a face at her. "I know. I've been cherishing every moment I have with her" I said turning back.
I heard someone coming and knew it was Edward by his smell. I walked away from them as they talked and looked at the girls. "I can feel you're upset" Jasper said as he wrapped his arm around my waist from behind. "The snow is sticking" I said and he sighed. "We still have today" He said and I turned pressing my lips to his.
"Alright present time! Lets go!" Dad said as he walked into the living room clapping his hands. "Seth, Leah stop eating" He said as he sat down. "Jake you start get it going" Dad said and Jacob handed Nessie a gift. Seth picked up a box and handed it to Cecilia who opened it excitedly revealing a silver bracelet with some charms on it.
I smiled as I bent down beside her. "Wow this is really pretty huh?" I said as I helped her put it on. "Really pretty. Thank you Seth!" She said wrapping her arms around Seth and I smiled before walking back over to Jasper. "Well dad we didn't have time to wrap yours but here it is" Bella said handing dad our gift to him.
"It's a five day fishing trip to Fraser river. It's for you and Sue" I said. "You leave tomorrow" Edward said. "Wow that's really nice, thank you. Tomorrow? I can't leave tomorrow" Dad said. "I made arrangements for you at work" Sue said as she walked in. "Sneaky and extravagant" Dad said. "And non refundable I'm afraid" Jasper said from beside me and I smiled.
"You guys trying to get rid of me?" Dad said and an awkwardness filled the room. "Cause it's working!" He said chuckling and I smiled. "Fraser River? That means we'll be chasing Cutthroat" Dad said. "We might even hook a rainbow or some bulls" Sue said as she sat on dads lap. "Woman knows her trout" Dad said. After a few hours we left dads and headed back home.
I walked into the house and went to Cecilia's room with her. "Ok sweetie, let's get you changed" I said before grabbing her clothes. I grabbed her a black skirt, white tights, black boots, pink long sleeve shirt and her back coat. I got her dressed and grabbed the backpack. I went to my room and changed into my outfit for the battle which was a black leather jacket, a dark grey shirt, some black knee high boots.
"You ready to go?" Seth said and I nodded. Jasper walked out of the room in some black jeans, black shoes and a black jacket with a dark grey low v neck shirt and his necklace. I smiled and pressed my lips to his. "Lets go" He said and I nodded before linking hands with him as he picked up Cecilia.
I finished putting up the tent for Cecilia before turning to her. "Wanna say goodnight to everyone?" I said and she nodded before running over to Rosalie and Emmett first. I walked over to Jasper and he turned to me. "This might be my last night with her" I said and he wrapped his arm around my waist pulling me into him.
"I know. I'm dreading it too" He said and I sighed. "If I was human I'd be crying right now" I said and he squeezed me tighter as we watched Cecilia run over to Carlisle and Esme. Carlisle picked her up giving her a hug and kissed her cheek saying something to her. Esme kissed her cheek and gave her a hug before Carlisle put her down.
She then ran over to the Denali clan and gave them all a hug. She went to every other clan saying goodnight and I smiled. We raised her well I thought to myself. Cecilia ran over to Edward and he bent down giving her a hug. He walked her over to Bella and she hugged Cecilia before Cecilia turned to Nessie and they hugged each other.
She finally ran over to us and Jasper picked her up. "Goodnight daddy. I love you" She said as she wrapped her small arms around his neck. "Goodnight my little princess. I love you more" He said hugging her back. "I'll be in soon ok?" he said and she nodded before he put her down. She took my hand and we walked into the tent.
She took off her boots and pulled the sleeping bag over her lap. "I got you something" I said before pulling out a locket from my pocket.

I handed it to her and she opened it. Inside was a photo of Jasper and I holding her when she was about 3 years old. On the other side was an inscription. "Together forever, never apart, maybe in distance but never at heart" I read. She looked up at me with a smile and I stroked her head. "Sweetie, tomorrow, you going to go away with Seth" I said and she scrunched her eyebrows.
"What do you mean?" She said. "He's going to take you away. Somewhere safe with Nessie and Jacob" I said and tears filled her eyes. "I won't be with you and daddy?" She whimpered and I shook my head slightly and the tears slipped from her eyes. "Hey. It's going to be ok. It's only for a little while and then we'll be back together again ok?" I said wiping her tears.
"Come here" I said pulling her into me and she cuddled into me as she sniffed. "Everything will be ok. I promise. I love you so much my darling. Always" I said as I wrapped my arms around her.
