Description; Jungkook was the boy you had seen glimpses of every night for the past month within your dreams. All of the sudden, every night you begin getting transported to the room he seems to be trapped in. Jungkook is haunted by tragedies of his past and horrific visions of his friends, so you try to help him. They are only dreams after all, right?
(Y/N)= Your Name
~~~
Jungkook.
You remembered that name after the first night and never let it leave you, having the letters permanently engraved within your mind.
Your dreams had always been vivid; not lucid, vivid. But to make up a person within your unconscious mind? This was a rare thing of almost unsettling proportions.
He was stunningly good looking with brown hair, a crooked nose and big eyes. The only problem was, he was never happy. As he haunted your dreams every night, you only ever saw him in pain or crying. You didn't know why this mysterious boy that your unconsciousness had presumably made up was so distraught and it made no sense.
You wanted to ask him what was wrong, but the small moments you saw him were not long enough for you to even attempt to call out through your mind, the echoes of emptiness coming back towards you in the sound of ominous whistling.
At school, all your friends noticed you had become distant as your sleep began to trouble you. You assured them and your parents that everything was OK.
In art class, after you finished your project, you drew a picture of Jungkook, sketching him out as to not lose the memory of him in case the visions stopped. They say dreams are important for your future, whether you remember them or not.
"Wow, is that your boyfriend (Y/N)?" Your best friend asked, looking down at your sketch.
You quickly hid the picture.
"No," You told her, laughing to play it off, "Just an actor I really admire from a drama."
You didn't want to lie to your friend but you also weren't ready to tell anyone about the 'boy of your dreams.'
"Wow, he's really cute. You should send me the link to it," Your friend told you, winking and walking off as to finish her own project.
You sighed in relief and continued to darken and widen the color and size of the boys eyes.
This continued on for a month, making you more and more distraught after every passing night. The whistling followed you into your life and filled your head even when you were awake.
