Description: You work as a respite worker who tends to take care of older people in their homes, but you get quite a surprise when you receive a new patient who is close to your age. Jeon Jungkook recently survived a car crash in which his parents died and he received severe injuries to the lower spine. His aunt hires you to help him get around until he fully heals although he is determined that he doesn't need you. You however are equally determined to help him, and maybe not just physically but also mentally.

"Alright, this is it."

You pumped yourself up while looking at your new patients house. It was simple and not as extravagant as some of the elder people's mansions you had cared for in the past, but you still liked the cozy feel it seemed to have.

You walked to the front door and noticed that some of the pots of flowers looked like they could use some water. Uncollected newspapers laid next to the door as well. You already had a picture of who you might be working for and suspected an elder lady who probably couldn't walk very well anymore. This was fine with you, you had worked with similar customers before; it just meant a lot of stories.

You were quite surprised when you rang the doorbell and a middle aged woman that could clearly walk perfectly fine answered it. She had a lot of wrinkles that appeared to be caused by stress but still smiled at you softly.

"Hello dear," She spoke, her voice strained but expression kind, "Are you the helper I called for?"

"Yes mam," You answered, smiling brightly, "I'll help the client with any personal needs and things they need done. I'll also be able to take them wherever they need to go and be there to talk to as their respite worker."

"Excellent." A look of relief washed over her face and she smiled a bit brighter at your words; opening the door wide and stepping aside so you could enter. "Come on in dear to meet him. He's a little... tired today but I promise he's glad to have the help. You'll love him."

"Oh... alright," You agreed, still smiling, "I'm sure I will."

You took a seat at the kitchen table and went over paper work with the woman before she left to fetch your new patient. You looked around to see papers and mail scattered around. Dishes lay in the sink and a picture of a couple with a cute little boy hung crooked on the wall. You hummed in slight disappointment with the knowledge that whoever this guy was didn't seem to be very neat and that you would probably be doing a lot of cleaning.

You walked over to the wall to further inspect the picture of the small family. They looked really happy and you wondered who they were in regards to your client.

As you were studying the picture you didn't even realize the fact that the woman had returned... pushing your client in a wheelchair. You continued to stare at the frame and only whirled around when the woman cleared her throat.

"Oh! I'm sorry-" You began, but trailed off and froze in shock when you noticed the wide eyed boy about your age staring at you from the wheelchair.

"Miss (L/N), this is Jungkook."

You stared at each other for a few silent moments more before you both, at the same time, exclaimed;

"You aren't old?!"

After the exclamation, you quickly slapped a hand over your mouth in shock that you had yelled such a thing while the woman looked down at Jungkook with an equally as shocked expression that he had been so disrespectful.

"Jungkook!" She scolded, and his wide eyed expression quickly morphed into one of a glare as he looked at you.

"Umm... I-I'm sorry about that," You stammered, still dumbfounded that your new client was under the age of 60, and not only that, but close to your age. He had light brown hair with deep doe-like brown eyes and a slightly hooked nose. His undeniably attractive features however were tarnished by the dark circles under his eyes from lack of sleep and the scowl that played on his lips.
