Thorin P.O.V
My head began to pound as everyone's voice yelled in my head. My memories began to get jumbled as the past and present alternated. Finally, everything calmed down as the quest from the beginning to the end replayed. My last memory was Myra holding me as she and Bilbo cried together.
"Thorin. Go to her. Go to your family. We'll see each other again." Two muffled voices said before I woke up. I gasped awake on a stone slab with the Arkenstone in my hands and my sword next to me. Fili and Kili were beside me as they looked at me worried.
"Thorin. Are you okay?" Fili asked as Kili looked around the room
"I think so. Is this a dream?" I asked him as I gripped his shoulder. They both helped prop me up
"I don't think so. Where are we?" Fili said
"Let's find out. Stay low and behind me." I ordered them as we had our weapons drawn. We ran up the steps to a main hallway. I pushed them to the side of the wall as elven guards passed by us.
"Those elves look like Myra. Where are we?" Kili noticed
"I noticed that too. I don't know but lets find out quickly." I replied as I motioned for us to go left. We found another flight of stair and had no choice but to go up.
Once we went up, we all knew exactly where we were. We were near the throne room which was empty. We kept to the shadows since the other walkways were bustling. Dwarves worked the stalls as elves and men checked their wares. Some elves were selling in the stands as well. All the elves looked like Myra; tan complexion and dark hair, though their eyes differed. I noticed that a few woodland and rivendell elves were present too. The dwarves were easily recognisable as either our people or from the iron hills.
"Erebor. It's changed so much. How long have we been gone? Assuming that this isn't a dream." Kili said as we all watched in awe
"I don't know. I hope that this isn't a cruel joke. Let's find Myra." I said as we headed for my chambers.
Elves paced the hallway while Dwarves guarded the door. We had to distract them in order to sneak in. Fili and Kili quickly came up with an idea. They rummaged through their pockets and found spare knives. They threw them into the wall while the guards heads were turned. The men were all shocked and went to investigate the knives. We quietly passed through the doors into the room.
The room hadn't changed since the last time. We were standing in the foyer which had abundant seating, a large fireplace, and a closet. The only thing that Myra added was a deep purple rug and placed a few flowers around. I moved toward the end of the room and pulled open the doors to reveal the bedroom. The bed was the same and looked like only one side was heavily slept in. The sheets were a dark green-teal velvet with a cream fur blanket. The frame was cut from the dark green rock which curved like a sleigh. She had a dark mahogany make up table near the door. The nightstands were cut from the rock like the armoire alongside her makeup table. At the left end of the room, she had a balcony which overlooked the courtyard below. For privacy, she added heavy golden drapes. We left the bedroom to talk in the foyer.
"Obviously, Myra is alive. Gold and purple are her colours." Fili said
"That would explain the high amount of elves." Kili added
"I wonder if she's home. Why haven't we seen her?" I asked just as the door began to jiggle. "Closet now." I ordered them as we ran in. We managed to get in just in time as the guards walked through.
