Bilbo P.O.V
We stayed for an hour in Dale, enough for a quick nap. Myra woke me up just as the guards were changing. We climbed out the window and stuck to the shadows as we headed for the wall. Myra had me on her back as we vaulted the wall. We had to run like hell to get back to the mountain. Thankfully, no one was at the wall yet when we arrived. I snuck back to my room while Myra went to her and Thorin's.
Balin woke me up early in the morning. Everyone had their armour on in preparation for the fight. I joined everyone as we stood on the wall. Myra was beside Thorin in the center and was dressed in actual armour. It was scaly and black like her ranger outfit. Her hair was loose but held back by two braids, half up & half down style. She had her daggers on her lower back with her bow in the center and a full quiver.
A sea of elves were at the door. Their golden armour was blinding in the sun. Thranduil had his entire army positioned to storm the gate. To say it was intimidating was one of the thoughts racing through my head. The line began to break to allow Thranduil and Bard to pass through. Thorin shot an arrow right as they reached 1/4 across the bridge.
"I will put the next one between your eyes." Thorin threatened has he adjusted his aim. The men cheered him on of course until the entire army pointed their bows at them. They quickly ducked behind the misshapen blocks. With a wave of his hand, the army went at ease.
"We have come to tell you that payment of your debt has been offered and accepted." Thranduil teased
"What payment? I gave you nothing. You have nothing." Thorin demanded
"We have this." Bard replied as he held up the Arkenstone. Everyone went silent at the sight. Even Thorin lowered his bow as his jaw dropped slightly.
"He has the Arkenstone. Thieves! How came you by the heirloom of our house?! That stone belongs to the King!" Kili shouted angrily
"And the King may have it. But first, he must honour his word." Bard demanded
"They're taking us for fools. This is a ruse. A filthy lie!" Thorin whispered to us before yelling at Bard "The Arkenstone is in this mountain. It is a trick!" I was forced to confess the truth.
"No, it's not a trick. The stone is real. I gave it to them." I said as I stepped forward. Everyone was shocked while Thorin slowly pivoted to me. Myra looked worried as she watched Thorin's hands.
"You." Thorin said coldly
"I took it as my 14th share of the treasure." I replied
"You would steal from me." Thorin said with the pain evident
"Steal from you? No, no I'm a burglar. I would like to think I'm an honest one." I answered. Thorin began to slowly come closer. Myra lightly grabbed his arm which he shook off. She instantly gipped her daggers on her back as she solidified her stance. " I'm willing to let it stand against my claim." I offered
