More of the same graffiti popped up around town all week. 'Equal Z is Destiny' across storefronts, on benches, and I think I saw it on a bus once. Not only that, but 'Z-Revolution' appeared in front of the police station. It kind of led to a few officers showing up in Zombietown asking around to see if anyone knew what it was about.

 No one really did.

In fact, my dad was the only one to go talk to them and he told them the exact same thing he told me. It was clear on their faces that they didn't like the idea of anyone rebelling, especially zombies. Which I don't like the idea of either. We've worked so hard to get where we are right now to start some stupid rebellion.

Addison has grown worried and when she worries a wrinkle appears between her eyebrows. I love that wrinkle, it's adorable and I remind her about it every time she talks to me. It usually appears whenever she tells me about the things her father has said regarding the graffiti stuff.

I'm sitting in front of her, a basket on the corner of our blanket and a couple of empty plates in front of us. The sun is hot, the shade is cool, and she has some of the suns rays running between her hair.

She is breathtakingly gorgeous.

I don't think there is a day that I will ever stop staring at her like this. I have no idea what I've ever done in my life to deserve her and this happiness.

"My dad's talking about gathering volunteers to keep watch in town..." she began, fixing her hair behind her ear. I watch out for that wrinkle of hers. "No one's been seen painting anything, he even wants guards to search everyone coming out of Zombietown."

I sit up, "Wait...what?"

She sighs, "I know it's unfair, he knows it's unfair, but that's what people are asking of him."

"We didn't have to get searched before?"

She puts her hand on my lap, "And you're probably not going to get searched now. It's just something that's going around. Relax."

It's extremely hard not to relax when she smiles at me with those pearly whites. I lay my own hand on top of hers and look at her, a pleasant chill runs up my arm and I see her pale hairs standing on her arm. The edge of her lips rise even more and I lean down towards her.

"Zed."

We both nearly jump a mile apart.

I turn slowly, nearly glaring at Eliza, "What is it, Eliza?" I ask, a little more than bummed out about the interruption. That feeling is quickly gone when I see the concern across Eliza's face. Addison sees it too, "What happened?"

"There's a couple of people that have turned out missing. We—" She gestures towards herself and at me, "—have all been asked to get back home now."

Addison looks at me in alarm.

"Who?" I ask.

"Bonzo's gone missing," she said softly, "and so have a couple of other people. Addison's father is in Zombietown right now, I ran off to find you guys before he sent a patrol out looking for you."

I swallow a knot that seemed to be stuck in my throat. "When you say a couple of people do you mean...?"

"Humans. Yes." Eliza nodded quickly, looking as sick as a zombie could look. I am certain that as of this moment I look the same. There hasn't been any human disappearances in Seabrook since everyone got their Z-bands.

I glance down at Addison, "Addison, I think I should take you home now."

Her face goes through different emotions before settling on complete bewilderment, "My father knows you're a good guy, Zed. He knows you would never hurt me. Besides, Bonzo's most likely off somewhere with Bree, he's been trying to learn English and she's been trying to learn Zombie."
