Addison

Was that her first fight with Zed? If it was she had to admit it wasn't as terrible as she thought it could have been. It could have ended way worse.

He had a point though; she should listen. She should watch out because she could get hurt...but how could she sit by while they destroyed his town?

She couldn't. It wasn't her.

Addison ran quickly and much to her luck, no one paid attention to her. They were busy and more interested in what was going on than her. There were officers everywhere, people fighting with them, others trying to put the fire out. Addison kept running past them and past a few houses.

"Running makes you look guilty." A voice called out to her. She stopped in her tracks, looking around for the familiar voice.

"Was it because of the man that was bitten?" The familiar female voice asked. Addison looked everywhere.

"Up here, Addison."

She gazed up, narrowing her eyes to get a better look. She was more than alarmed when she saw Eliza sitting on the second floor of one of the broken down buildings, "What in the world are you doing up there?" she asked her.

Eliza nodded toward her house, kicking her legs back and forth, "Enjoying the view...the lawn trashing was lacking any sort of effort by anyone, the impromptu fire of the chairs was a nice touch, but they showed real cooperation when they set the stand on fire, and then beating down the officers was just the icing on the cake." Sarcasm dripped at every word she said.

"Some humans are real idiots." She said.

Eliza chuckled hollowly, "I know that there aren't that many people who would ever think that walking into Zombietown during a lockdown is a wonderful idea." She said pointedly, looking at her.

Addison scoffed, rolling her eyes and smiling, "Oh shut up. How do you get up there?"

Eliza slightly grinned, nodding her head back, "There's stairs at the very back of the building, the stairs end at the second floor, third floor is blocked by debris. You'll know where to go.

Addison nodded, going into the building and finding the stairs at the very back, she climbed them, following Eliza's voice.

"I'm not going to ask what you're doing here because we both know what you are doing here."

"Why are you up here, Eliza?" Addison asked, carefully sitting beside Eliza.

"It gets me out of the house and stops me from being an idiot myself."

"What do you mean?"

Eliza looked down the street, "I don't like sitting here. I don't like watching my home torn apart by idiots that can't think for themselves. I don't like doing nothing at all...but I know that if I try anything the only thing that I succeed in doing now is endangering others and causing even more trouble."

Addison shrugged, "They're causing trouble, why not us?"

Eliza slightly turned to her with an amused look on her face, "You are setting a terrible example for me, encouraging me this way, you dork. You should be agreeing with me in keeping the peace not telling me to go and raise hell."

"I'm not trying to raise any hell, I'm trying to take a stand for what's right; something we have to do to make any change.' Addison said, looking at Eliza, "something you have never had a problem with."

Eliza sighed and scratched her eyebrow, "I have a problem with getting my mother in harm's way, I have a problem with someone hurting Zoey, or Zed, or his father. This isn't just a fight for our rights anymore; this is real; people can get hurt."
