ADDISON

There was a lot that was going through Addison's head. Mostly it was all 'oh god, oh god, oh god,' because she was first and foremost freaking out about Zed coming at her in full Zombie mode. The veins on his face and neck were purplish; dark and pulsing madly...and he was heading her way. There wasn't many ways to get out of her situation. Nathan and Freddy were blocking the exit; Bonzo, Bucky, and Eliza had one hand shackled to a pipe on the wall and if she went near them she was sure to be grabbed; and Sebastian was trying to make himself smaller in his chair—-and it was working out for him.

Not many options for escape for her, no place to hide, and no safe way to stop Zed without hurting him.

Joy.

"ZED!" She yelled, dodging his hands when he came at her. There was nothing else she could do. The rush of energy could only last so long, and she was already running on so little to begin with.

"You need to stop this before someone gets hurt. " Addison told Nathan.

He waved her concern away," It won't be that bad. We'll pull him away before he can do any real damage. "

"If you want Zombies so badly why haven't you been turned? " She asked, backing away from Zed's arms again.

"Why is that?" Freddy asked, turning to Nathan with a frown.

"Do we have an extra Zband around? "

"Oh right. "

She stopped paying attention to them because Zed was fighting with himself. One of his arms grabbed the other and the other did the same. He was holding himself back, trying to not hurt her, trying to gain control.

She gave him an encouraging smile. If she was able to reach him through his Zombie state she knew in her heart he would be able to stop himself from hurting her. There was no doubt about it. Yet even if he was able to gain partial control it was going to be hard to get out of the room. Unless...she managed a small glance at the guys blocking the door. It wasn't exactly the plan of the century but it was something and right now it was better than nothing at all. She gave them another glance to see that the two were still distracted speaking in the exact same spot. Addison looked at Sebastian once more before taking a deep breath and going for it.

She stepped toward Zed before quickly running backwards and pushing hard off the ground. She kept her arms tightly against her chest while her legs kicked out as she twisted in the air. She felt them strike the two boys before landing nearly successfully on the ground.

She wobbled a bit, gaining her footing again before she checked on the two boys, out cold. Zed was still standing where he was, baring his teeth but not at her. He was staring at his own hands not moving, not doing anything. He was controlling himself...She felt so proud of him. She couldn't even imagine how hard it was for him to stop himself and she wasn't going to try.

She crouched down, keeping her head up as she checked Nathan's pocket for the key he used to lock Sebastian up. She couldn't do a thing about any of the Zombies herself but she could do something about the young boy.

Addison had to shove Nathan to his side to get the key from his back pocket.

Addison's heart pounded in her chest when she felt that he was stirring. She shot up and crept around Zed who made no move to come after her, he was busy doing an impression of a mannequin as he glared down at his own hands. Addison fiddled with the few keys in her hands as she crossed over to where Sebastian was peeking at her through his arm.

"How'd you do that?!" He asked with awe when she made her way to him.

"A lot of cheerleading." She replied coolly, kneeling down and trying out the keys. Bucky was snarling wildly from across the room, trying to reach them while Bonzo and Eliza sat silently, eyes firmly on them. Addison tried out three of the ten keys Nathan had on a small key ring until she found the correct key.

Sebastian stretched his wrists. "Are we going to help them?" He asked her, sliding off the seat.

She looked over at them, they were still watching her. She couldn't let them go even though she really wanted to.

"We'll help them, but first we need to get out of here." She said hurriedly, grabbing his hand.

Nathan and Freddy were starting to groan on the ground. Addison needed to get out and get help before they were able to find a way to move the four Z-bandless Zombies.

"Let's go—now!" She said making a beeline toward the door.

"Do you even know how to get out?" Sebastian asked her when they opened the door. She didn't bother lying to him.

"No idea." She admitted but it didn't seem to bother him at all.

"How exciting!" Sebastian announced happily as she shut the door behind them. Addison looked both ways and darted out to where Zed had come from, which was the opposite way of where she had tried to run when she escaped the first time.

"That's a big door." Sebastian pointed out and she had to agree.

"As long as it opens, I don't care how big it is," Addison said.

There was a lever in the middle of the door that she turned until the large door pushed open. There was only one way to go from there. Sebastian ran ahead of her, trying to open the door.

"It's locked." He said, his shoulders slumping.

"I've got keys." She reminded him, jiggling the keys in front of his face.

His eyes lit up, "I forgot."

She smiled fleetingly at him, separating the keys out along her palm. She tried one by one until the knob turned under her hand.

"It's just another room," Sebastian exclaimed, stepping into the room.

"There has to be a way out," Addison said, already looking at every corner for another way.

"Doesn't seem like there is." Sebastian groaned, squinting his eyes as he looked around.

The hairs on the back of her hair were on ends when she felt someone behind her.

"That's because there isn't." Someone else said.
