Jesse forced herself to stay still as she watched her best friend walk through the gates of Beacontown. Of course, it would seem like a special occasion, since Petra and Jesse rarely saw each other or hung out. Unfortunately, this wasn't exactly something to celebrate.

Petra was leaving.

She would come back, but who knew how long she'd have to wait?

No words, just glances. Slow breaths. Watery eyes. Racing hearts.

Jesse felt someone's hand brush hers, ever so slightly. A flicker of her eyes to the right gave her an answer.

Her breath hitched as she slowly entwined her fingers with his. Lukas grasped her hand gently for comfort.

No words, just glances. Actions. But it meant everything to her.

"Here Stella." Jesse handed the blonde-haired girl the last few stacks of materials and items. Some iron, diamonds, and important building blocks for repairs. Lluna the llama snorted next to her.

"Thanks Jesse, I really owe it to you." She replied, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. Stella pat her llama and smiled softly.

"It's no problem Stella. I'll see you around, alright?"

The other girl nodded, and then turned to leave Beacontown and home to Champion City.

Jesse looked away from the gates, they only made her heart ache even more. It had only been a day, but it felt like weeks, something that had pierced a hole in her heart she wasn't sure what to fill it with.

She gave a hearty sigh, before walking towards town, taking a look at all the citizens and repairs going on. One was replacing a wooden structure with some prismarine blocks, not exactly fitting, but that's what made Beacontown, well, Beacontown.

"Oh slimeball-!" Someone exclaimed, in a tone that was trying to curse, but wasn't.

Jesse looked up and to the right and gave a small grin. Radar would never change.

"I said use the spruce wood instead of-oh for Notch's sake-never mind. Just use what we have then." She saw her assistant sigh before climbing down the ladders attached to the building. He jumped down once he was near the bottom and spotted her before running over.

"Hey Jesse!" He exclaimed, brushing off he dust and dirt off his green outfit and pushing up his glasses. He then used his hand to quickly brush his hair to the side to fix it.

"Hey Radar. How're the repairs going?" She asked curiously, the green in her eyes shining in the setting sun.

"They're going good actually, we're making progress. I just tend to go a little overboard when it comes to looks." He replied, chuckling nervously. "But you don't need to worry Boss, I've got it all under control."

"Awesome. I'm proud of you Radar." Jesse said, before wrapping him in a small hug. He squeaked a bit before hugging her back.

"Thanks Bo-Jesse."

The two stayed wrapped in the hug for a moment, before someone tapped Jesse on her shoulder. Radar let go of his mentor and smiled as she turned.

"Hey Lukas!" Radar exclaimed cheerfully, waving.

"Hi guys, you doing alright?"
