Chapter ten-

Alice's P.O.V.

I froze in my tracks, shocked to the bone. Why hadn't i thought of them being here? I knew that they knew where i lived, but i just figured that my parents would be home from work by now... unless they left because they knew i would come back. And now, glancing around, i could feel it. The prescence of abandonment. This house was unlived in. It was obvious. The thin sheet of dust that layed on top of all the counters. How organized everything was, our house is NEVER this organized.

They all stood to their feet as the door slammed shut behind me.

I backed up against it.

Harry put his hands up in surender, "We aren't going to hurt you."

I shook my head, "Don't lie, more than you already have; that is."

They started to get a little closer.

"Alice." Louis started.

I cut him off, "Please just leave me alone."

He shook his head, "Alice, please just stop and listen."

"How can i listen when all i expect to hear are lies." I whispered.

"No more lies. Just the truth." He promised.

I stayed silent.

"Look around you. Please. I know you've already noticed. They're gone aren't they?" He stepped closer.

"Stop." I whispered.

"Aren't they? Maybe it's because they can't handle you!"

"Louis stop it!" I told him.

"Because you just can't seem to listen to the people who want to help! Because your just so damn stubborn!"

"Louis please." I cried.
