"Hey, Patricia!" Adrian Chase called to his girlfriend. A sporty brunnette with sea green eyes jogged up to him, and kissed him on the cheek.
"Well that was a odd way to treat someone, Seaweed Brain," he smiled, brushing his curly blonde hair out of his face.
"I find it amusing, Wise Guy," Patricia Jackson laughed. "Wanna take a walk down to the lake?"
"Sure," Adrian mused. He knew Patricia loved the lake.
As the couple strolled a long, Patricia locked her fingers with Adrian's.
"This is nice," she sighed, "No monster attacks, no evil gods trying to kill us."
"Almost perfect," Adrian agreed. Patricia frowned, then turned and faced him.
"Wha-" Adrian started. Patricia cut him off with a firm kiss to the lips.
When the two came up for air Patricia smiled.
"Did that make it perfect?"
"Well..." She frowned again. In a sharp movement, Adrian tossed her into the lake with a psychotic grin. She laughed, and sent a tiny wave to get him wet.
"Perfect," he whispered.
