Thaluke (we're gonna go back in time for this one)

Pine Cone Thalia watched as Camp Half-Blood had it's first ever prom. Annabeth, as cuts as she was, was dancing in a red dress, with her hair done up in a braid. She had been claimed as an Athena kid, which didn't suprise Thalia in the least bit. That kid was intelligent.
Then, there was Luke. Oh, sweet Luke.
He wore a tux that he looked quite uncomfortable in, leaning against the punch table. Thalia liked to imagine her in a black dress Annabeth forced her into, talking to Luke and laughing with him, all alive and not treeish.
Alas, she was still a tree.
Surprisingly, Luke snuck away from the party when a centaur in a prom dress showed up, instead of fighting.
He came up to her tree.
"Oh Thalia," he said softly, "why did you have to be so brave?"
'Because I wanted to protect you guys' Thalia imagined saying.
"I liked you, ya know," Luke sighed.
'I like you too, Luke'
