Heya! Sorry I haven't been updating super recently, but more are on their way! I PROMISE! I'm working on a Pidge X Reader as we speak- er, as I write! I listened to the song at the top while thinking of this idea! By the way, this is not a dance AU. You'll see.

Zarkon hasn't attacked for a while. But the Paladins weren't complaining, they got to do what they loved in their free time. Until Allura came up with a surprise training session.

You have been a friend of Allura since she was little. You and your planet, Sadi, have been Altea's allies forever. Sadians could live a very long time before they died, so you were only in your late teens after 10,000 years. You were the highest command in the planet's military, and Allura's best friend, but you haven't seen her for 10,000 years. That's why you were surprised when you got a call from her.

"Allura! I haven't seen you in 10,000 years! How are you?" You asked, excited to have your Best friend back. "I'm great, thank you. I have a bit of a favor to ask of you" She said. "Yes, princess?" "Zarkon hasn't attacked in a while, so the new Paladins might've gotten rusty with some of their skills. If I bring them to Sadi, could you train them?" She asked.

"I mean.... I guess? Wh-what are they like?" You reply. "Well we have the leader, who is kind, but serious. And the red Paladin-" "What about the yellow one?" You cut her off. "Hunk?" She asked before continuing. "Well, he's kindhearted, and brave. Is this about the last yellow Paladin?" She asks. "He wouldn't fight! He was a goner!!"

Allura laughed at your response. "Well, I guess. Already have a plan, mastermind?" She teased. "You know it!" You said and winked. "Oh, please, do tell." She said. "Nope. Top secret." You replied with a smirk, knowing it would tick her off. "Awww, But why?!" She asks. You chuckle and shake your head. "Bring them to me, I will train them. Especially the yellow one." And with that being said you signed off.

You had your plan formed. The blue Paladin and the yellow Paladin are always very closely connected. If you hurt one of the yellow Paladin's friends, you get hurt. You hurt his best friend, he will fight you 'till the death. If I can get the blue Paladin on board with my plan, I can get this to work! You thought.

A couple days later, you recognize the Altean ship land a bit off the outskirts of one of Sadi's many villages, The main kingdom, which you were. You put on your armor and grab your sword, and 50 of your best guards were sent to fetch them. The king knew they were coming and your plan to train the new Paladins. He went along with your mischievous plan.

You arrived at the ship, to be greeted by Allura and the Paladins. "Hello, people of Sadi. If you remember, I am princess Allura. Please, where is commander (Y/n)?" She called out into the sea of troops. You made your way to the front of the group, then took off your helmet. It took all your willpower to not run up and hug her, but alas, it would ruin your plan.

"Hello, Allura. It has been a while, hasn't it?" You asked, approaching them. "Why it has. These are the new Paladins; Keith, Lance, Shiro, and Pidge. This one is Hunk." Allura said, gesturing to each Paladin. She made sure to make Hunk stand out, for whatever you had planned.

"I am (Y/n), leading commander of the Sadian army. Allura has informed me of your arrival beforehand." You said, still trying your best not to smile. "YOU WERE IN ON THIS CRUEL JOKE?!" Hunk asked, clearly angry about training. You managed to glare at him, but just barely. Sadians were taught to try to be peaceful before going into war, much like the Alteans which is why you were close allies and friends. So, acting hostile and tough wasn't easy. "That is quite enough, yellow Paladin. I do not wish to harm but I will not hesitate." You said, coldly. Allura caught on to your plan immediately after you said that.
