———————————————————————————

You groan as you start to stir, past events playing before you. You look up, but it was only blackness. Where am I? You ask yourself, sitting up. You try to fully stand, but you can't. There is something restraining your wrists, ankles, legs, arms chest- you were basically a cocoon of cold metal chains.

The only light was a slot coming from what seemed to be a door. Slowly, you tried squirming and inching over to it. Then the door swung open, revealing a Galran guard. You froze in your spot, squeezing your eyes shut, trying to make him think you were still unconscious. It must've worked, because you heard the door slam shut. You flinched at the loud noise.

Best thief AND actress around! You complimented yourself, arrogantly. You slowly started to inch closer again. That's when your face collided with an armored foot. An armored foot...? "Nice try." Was all you heard before you were picked up and thrown across the room. Okay, maybe not best actress...

The guard pulled you up by your hair, forcing you to stand. You felt around the top of your pants, looking for the pocket that held your knife. But it wasn't there. These aren't my clothes! WHO THE HECK CHANGED ME?!?! You mentally slapped yourself for getting off topic.

The guard held his gun to your head, and he forced you forward. You stumbled a bit, before waddling out of your cell, the guard got on your trail. Passing by other cells, you looked at the doors with longing eyes, wishing to free them. You were shoved when you slowed to get a better look at one of the doors.

You restraints were soon taken off, but before you could punch the guard, you were shoved again into a stadium, filled to the brim with people. Dear lord! Do they not have manners?! You asked yourself, standing up and wiping away the dust. You heard a growl from in front of you. You look up, terrified. Oh. My. Gosh.

It was a creature twice, maybe three times your size, all black, with green eyes, and three rows of razor sharp green teeth. It had tentacle-like arms, and bear-like feet. This thing is freaky. You pointed out. It roared terrifyingly loud, and charged at you, arms flung backwards from how fast it was moving. The crowd around you cheered. You couldn't move.

Just as it was about to swing its arm-tentacle down on you, dealing a deadly blow, you side stepped, looking around the stadium for anything you could use to defend yourself, and mentally groaning when you found nothing. It swung its arm to the side, throwing you into the wall and creating a dent. You fall to your knees before standing up again, the creature already charging at you.

You side step last minute, yet again, causing the creature to run into wall and cry out in pain. Imagine how I felt. I was literally THROWN INTO IT. You mentally scolded the creature. You were about to swipe your feet under the creature's, but a loud crash stopped you. You looked over to find a hole in the wall of the stadium, leading out into space.

The creature was quickly sucked out of the stadium as everyone else ran out. You dug your fingers into the ground, trying to stay put. But your arms were so tired, you knew you couldn't for much longer. Taking a last deep breath of air, you allowed your fingers to relax. You watched as the stadium got further and further from your view, and you were soon surrounded by black, dimly lit by the stars. You were running out of air fast.

In a last-minute effort to stay alive, your body opened your mouth subconsciously and against your will, trying to breathe in the one thing you needed most at the moment. But you got nothing. Your vision going hazy, you saw something approach you at an incredibly fast rate, but you were too weak to do anything. Black started to cloud your vision. The vehicle didn't seem to stop.

But once it hit you, your vision started clearing again. You were now laying on the floor in a grey, metal room. Am I dead? You ask yourself. The pain in your head seemed to tell you otherwise. You slowly sat up, taking in your metal surroundings. There was a hall behind you, and being the curious thief you were, quickly stood up and went through it.

You ended up in a cockpit of some sort. There was a rather familiar man in the seat. He looked over his shoulder at you and smiled, before turning his attention back to the chaos happening before you.

"Good to see you again." He greeted, as he blasted the ship again, dodging the debris as he flew by the destruction he had just caused. "Yea, you too." You reply, slightly absent minded. "You remember me?" He asks, slightly shocked. "Yea. I wouldn't have been there if it weren't for you and your team." You replied, coolly.

It was silent for the rest of time you spent in the cockpit with him.
