You couldn't move your hands that were pinned above your head by Keith. His violet eyes were furious as they practically bore through your soul. As you stare at him, wide-eyed and slightly shaking, you wonder. How did this happen?! Well, let's start from the very beginning...

"(Y/n)! Truth or Dare?!" Lance unnecessarily shouted across the small circle. Yes, you were all playing truth or dare. Except Coran, Who was fixing up the castle-ship, and Keith, who was on another mission with the Blade. Shocker.

"Um... Truth?" You say, unsure of your decision. Lance was ruthless when it came to this game. Which is why Allura quit. Lance dared her to take off her dress. A devious smirk came across his features as you subconsciously moved your torso away from him.

"Who's your Cruuuuuuusssshhh?~" Lance asked in an exaggerated sing-song voice. You could practically see your pink reflection in Lance's sparkling eyes. "I-"

"Don't even try to say 'I don't have one'. We know it's someone!" Pidge exclaims as your face turns two shades darker. "I-I-I-" you try to spit out.

Yes, you did have a crush. And it may be Keith. But, you weren't sure what to do with it. Do I tell him and risk being rejected? What do I do if I get rejected? Would our friendship be okay? What if we did start a relationship? Don't long-distance relationships almost never work? But now, truth be told, you were just stalling for time.

"C'mon, (Y/n)! It's not that big of a deal!" Hunk said. "Yeah, it's not like we're gonna treat you any differently." Shiro agreed. "We'll support you no matter what." Allura said. Lance began to add on, too. "As long as it's not-"

"Keith..." you manage to whisper. All of them look at you in absolute shock at his name. You looked down at the floor. Not gonna judge, huh? "(Y/n)..." Shiro trailed off.

"You're in love with the half-Galra?!" Allura exclaimed, clearly not pleased with your answer. "Mullet-for-brains?!" Lance added. Your eyes stayed glued to the floor. "(Y/n), this isn't the best idea. He's always away."

"I'm agreeing with Shiro on this one. You had your chance." Pidge states after Shiro. "Paladins! Princess! We are ready to wormhole!" Coran shouts over the intercom. "Let's finish this later!" Lance says in his excited tone. Almost like nothing happened. You all walked out to the control room.

"Ah, good, you're here. We got a distress signal from planet Grizzle." Coran stated as you all walked through the doors of the control room. "Let us set course there immediately." Allura says as she took her position on the podium. The rest took their seats on their chairs. You stare at the Red lion's empty chair.

As the rather large planet came into view, you realized you were still doing nothing. The Paladins were about to launch in their lions, Allura was powering the ship, and Coran was manning the panel of many buttons, levers, and switches.

"Allura, what can I do?" You ask her. No response. "Can I help?" You ask again, a bit louder as you take a step towards her. "Coran, activate the particle barrier!" She yelled. "Yes, princess!" He yelled back, switching levers and pushing buttons, eventually leading to the particle barrier going up.
