Murthy Villa.

9 : 00 am.

Standing inside Nandini's room, both Malhotra's and Murthy's gave each other a knowing look.

To accomplish the task in their hand, Mrs Murthy decided to take the first step.

Mrs Murthy ( hesitantly ) : Nandu. ...Nandu beta. ...uth jaa. ..subha ho gayi hai. ...Nandu. ...

Digging her face in Maniks arms, Nandini mumbled " abey. ...shanti se soone de! !!!!....tujhe practice pein jaana hai toh jaa naa. ....meri neeind kyon kharab kar raha hai? ??? "

Mrs Murthy immediately stopped trying to wake up Nandini. While, Mr Murthy looked displeased with the whole scene in front of him.

Taking the huge burden of waking Nandini and Manik, Nyonika came forward and poked on Maniks shoulder.

Manik ( irritatedly ) : yaar Nandu. ....generally tu mere bump pein laath maarti hai! !!!....aaj location change kar diya kya? ????

Getting confused with Maniks comment, Nandini raised her head, only to find their parents looking at them.

Hitting on Maniks chest, Nandini whispered " uth jaa Manik uth jaa. ... warna maar khaega! !!! "

Manik irritatedly sat up and complained " Nandu ki bacchi. ...subha subha aise kaun uthata hai? ???? "

But before Nandini could reply, Nyonika cleared her throat, gaining Maniks attention.

Manik ( shocked ) : aap log? ???....itni subha yaha kya kar rahe ho? ???

Turning towards Nandini, Manik scolded " chudail kahi ki! !!!....tu raat ko darwaza lock karna bhul gayi thi kya? ???? "

Nandini ( pissed ) : abey oye! !!!....tu bhi toh soone se pehele check kar sakta tha naa? ????

And before they could continue further, Mrs Murthy and Nyonika declared " ok guys. ...times up! !!!! "

Manik and Nandini  ( innocently ) : sorry. ...

Nyonika ( it's okay baccho! !!!...we have a good news for you! !!!!

Manik and Nandini ( least interested ) : kya hai? ???

Mrs Murthy ( excitedly ) : baccho aaj valentines day hai! !!!!!!

Manik and Nandini ( confused ) : toh????????

Nyonika ( excitedly ) : arrey toh tum logo ke college se valentines day ki party ka invitation aya hai! !!!!!

Giving each other a brief look, Manik and Nandini declared " humlog nehin jaa rahe! !!!!!.... so good night! !!!..... jaate waqt please darwaza bannd kar dena! !!!! "

Expecting this reply from their kids, Mrs Murthy and Nyonika set down to emotionally blackmail them.

Nyonika ( sadly ) : theek hai Nandu baccha! !!!!.... tu agar party mein nehin jaana chahti .... toh main tujhe force nehin karungi! !!!!.... in fact main abhi jaake beauty parlour ka appointment cancel kar dungi! !!!.... tere liye joh maine pyaar se dress laya tha. ...woh boutique mein wapas bhijwa dungi! !!!.....tujhe aapne haathon se tayaar karne ka saapna bhi bhul jaungi! !!!!

That was it, Nandini was on the verge of crying.

Nandini ( emotional ) : Nyo maa. ...please aap aise baatein kyon kar rahi hai? ???..... aapki Nandu. .. aapki her wish puri karegi! !!!....please aap upset maat hoiye! !!!!

Manik just gapped at them animatedly, knowing very well that next it was his turn.

And as expected, Mrs Murthy also started her screen play " Chalo accha hai. ...kam se kam tumhe aapna saapna pura karne ka mauka toh mil gaya! !!!!.... par mera kya? ???.... mujhe acche se pataa hai ki Manik inn sab ke liye kabhie nehin maanega! !!! "

Saying this, she started sobbing.

Taking Mrs Murthy in a side hug, Manik said " uff Cutie! !!!....kitna drama karti ho! !!!....aaj taak tumhare Manu ne. ...tumhari koi bhi baat maan ne se maana kiya hai kya! !!!...joh ab naa bolega! !!! "

Getting the green signal, Mrs Murthy smiled heartily. While, Manik just kissed her cheeks affectionately.

And for the rest of the day, Manik and Nandini were separated in the name of getting ready for the party.

Post few hours.

Sharing the sofa with Mr Murthy, Manik was happily going through the suits which Mrs Murthy had selected for him, occasionally saying yes or no.

But, Maniks sole concentration was on the mobile screen, which flashed messages from Nandini.

Nandini : kya kar raha hai bey? ???

Manik : dress select. ...tera kya haal hai? ??....mom zyaada dimaag toh nehin kha rahi????? 😜😜

Nandini : chup baith !!!!.... Neyo maa is a sweetheart! !!! 😍😍

Manik : rehn de! !!....zyaada taref karne ke extra marks nehin hai! !!😒😒

Nandini : hatt saale! !!!😡😡

Manik : arrey sacch hi toh keh raha hu! !!! 😆😆

Nandini : woh chhod! !!!....yeh baata ki. ..are you missing me? ??? 😄😄

Manik : bahut zyaada miss kar raha hu yaar 😢😢

Nandini : aww. ...so sweet of you. ...😘😘

Manik : woh kya hai naa. ....mera saar dabane ke liye koi nehin mil raha tha. ...issliye tujhe miss kar raha hu! !!!😏😏

Nandini : ruk jaa saale! !!!....ghar aake tera gaala hi dabati hu
😑😑😑

On reading her reply, Manik burst out laughing. While, Mr Murthy passed him a weird look.
