Flaring her nostrils Nandini entered the house, looking like a wreck.

Disturbed with his earlier conversation with Cabir, Manik was lying on the sofa, with his head on Mrs Murthy's lap.

As soon as Manik caught a glimpse of Nandini, he instantly closed his eyes.

Marching towards Manik, Nandini angrily started muttering " iss gadhe ko main poore college mein dhoondh dhoondh ke pagal ho gayi! !!!...aur yeh janab yaha kumbh karan ki tarah ghode beech ke soo raha hai! !!!! "

Signaling her to shut up, Mrs Murthy murmured " chup ho jaa Nandu! !!!...becchara mera Manu bahut thaak gaya hai. ..issliye soo raha hai! !!!....tu usse disturb maat kar aur jaa yaha se! !!! "

Rolling her eyes, Nandini retorted " fine jaa rahi hu main! !!!....aapko aapka yeh kumbh karan Manu mubarak ho! !!!!! "

Stamping her foot Nandini left from there. While Manik keept on pretending to be asleep.

During the dinner time, no one spoke a single word, letting an awkward silence settle around the house.

Manik was still drowning in his depression. While Nandini was totally pissed at him.

Manik ( pov ) ( upset ) : Cabir sahi keh raha tha. ...Nandu mere saath khush nehin hai. ...tabhi toh meri taraf dekh bhi nehin rahi hai! !!!

Nandini ( pov ) ( pissed ) : yeh gadha mujhe college mein akele chhod ke aa gaya! !!....aur ab dekho. .meri taraf dekh bhi nehin raha hai! !!!....isske attitude ke balloon ko toh main toothpick se puncture kar dungi! !!!!

Sensing the awkwardness in the atmosphere, both Mr and Mrs Murthy looked at each other, trying to figure out what exactly was going on.

Mr Murthy ( pov ) : jab se princess aayi hai tab se hi usska mood off hai! !!!..zarur iss nalaayak Manik ne hi kuch kiya hoga! !!!....isse toh main 3rd degree torture karunga! !!!!!...fridge mein isse baraf ki tarah jaamne ke liye chhod dunga!!!!!....garam oil mein daal ke isska deep fry karunga! !!!....isske bones ko mixer grinder mein daal ke powder baanaunga! !!...aur phir uss powder se kutto ke liye energy drink baanaunga! !!!!!

Looking at Mr Murthy's vengeful eyes, Mrs Murthy nudged him.

Mrs Murthy ( curious ) : kya hua? ???..aise kar ke kise ghur rahe ho? ????

Trying to act innocent, Mr Murthy just nodded his head in a no and started concentrating on his food for the time being.

Post dinner, Manik found himself standing outside the bedroom, skeptical about whether to enter the room or not.

Taking a deep breath, Manik decided to enter the lion's den.

Once inside the room, Manik found Nandini busy with her studies.

With a grumpy face, Manik sat on the bed and focused on Nandini's every movement.

Sensing Maniks constant gaze on her, Nandini shut the book and turned to face Manik.

Nandini ( barked ) : kya hai? ???....mere shakal pein kya India ka map chaapa hua hai. ..joh tu tab se aise ghure jaa raha hai? ????

Startled with Nandini's out burst, Manik stammered " nehin. ..woh. .main. ..kuch nehin! !!!!! "

Getting up from her desk, Nandini stood in front of Manik, crossing her arms near her chest.

Raising her brows, Nandini questioned " subha se dekh rahi hu. ...Devdas ke jaise ghoom raha hai! !!!!...akhir problem kya hai teri???? "

Pouting like a baby, Manik meows " kuch nehin hua hai! !!!! "

Rolling her eyes in sheer annoyance, Nandini pressurised " dekh aise shakal baana ne se kuch nehin milega. ..issliye chup chap baata ki chakkar kya hai? ????? "

Shutting his eyes, Manik said in one go " I guess hum ne shaadi kar ke galti kar di kyon ki tu mere saath khush nehin hai! !!!! "

That was it, the next instant Manik was forced to open his eyes as he felt Nandini gabbing his collars.
