With her eyes almost buldging out, Nandini voiced her fears " Manu. ...hum dono. ....itne bade se. ...scary se. ...jungle mein kho gaye hai! !!!!!!!! "

Trying to calm Nandini, Manik tried to assure her " arrey koi nehin! !!!!....tu doo minute yaha ruk. ...main abhi wapas jaane ka raasta dekh ke ata hu! !!!!! "

Before Manik could move an inch, Nandini almost climbed on him and demanded " nehin nehin. ...tu kahi nehin jaa raha! !!!.....mujhe akela chhod ke tu bilkul bhi nehin jaa raha !!!!! "

Manik ( sensibly ) : accha theek hai! !!!....hum log kal subha subha raasta dhoondh lenge! !!!!.... phil haal tu soo jaa! !!

Raising her head, Nandini muttered " par yaha pein toh bed bhi nehin hai Manu! !!!....main kaise sooungi?????? "

Manik ( calmly ) : abhi baata ta hu! !!!!

Coming out of Nandini's grip, Manik sat under one of the tree's, supporting his back on it.

Opening his arms wide, Manik asked " ab soone aa jaa!!!!!...... aaj raat ke liye main hi tera bed hu! !!!! "

Already scared to the core, Nandini instantly obliged with Manik and took her rightful place in his arms.

Holding her securely near his chest, Manik drew soothing patterns on Nandini's back, trying to distract her from the surroundings.

Nuzzling in Maniks chest, Nandini soon drifted to sleep. While, Manik stayed awake, time to time checking on Nandini.

Next morning.

Cutting through the huge tree leaves, the sun rays were finally able to disturb Nandini's sleep.

Rubbing her eyes, Nandini came out of Maniks hold.

Standing on her feet, Nandini turned her body, only to get shocked by the view.

That was it, Nandini's eyes were sitting fire.

Giving a solid kick on Maniks butt, Nandini waited for Maniks explanation.

The sudden kick on his butt was like a morning dose for Manik.
Yawning badly, Manik said " good morning to you too Nandu! !!! "

Nandini ( pissed ) : Manu. ....tu toh humare camp ka raasta bhul gaya tha naa? ????..... toh phir humlog kal raat ko camp ke backside taak kaise pohache? ???

Sweating profusely, Manik tried to cook up some story, but miserably failed.

Manik ( stammering ) : kya? ???....camp? ???.... camp ka backside? ???...woh. ....andhera. ...raat ko. ... andhera. ...hota hai naa. ...issliye. ...shyaad. ..nehin dikha!!

Scrutinising Maniks each and every move, Nandini said " tu itna hakla kyon raha hai? ????....upar se tera naak aur kaan bhi laal ho gaya hai!!!!!...ab toh sacch bol de!!!!! "

Scratching his nape nervously, Manik said " woh. ...camp mein hum dono ko alag alag rehna tha!!!!!. ..... aur mujhe raat ko tere bina neeind hi nehin ati! !!!!.....toh issliye. ..."

And the rest of the sentence, Nandini completed " toh issliye tune jungle mein khoone ka drama kiya!!!!! "

Feeling really guilty for his actions, Manik just nodded his head.
Smacking Maniks head, Nandini said " buddhu ram! !!!!.....pehele kyon nehin baataya? ???.....atleast tere jungle mein raat bitane wale idea se toh bacch jaate! !!!! "

Manik ( cribbing ) : haan toh jungle mein raat bitana itna bhi bura nehin tha! !!!!!

Nandini ( sarcastically ) : yeah right! !!!!....tu hi beetana aapni puri life is jungle mein. ..with free ka jungli janwar! !!!
