Rolling on the bed from one end to the other, Manik sleepily muttered " yeh bed pein aaj itni jagah kaise hai? ???..... "

Yawning like a fool, when the realisation dawned upon him, Manik started blabbering " shit! !!!....yeh Nandu kaha chali gayi? ?????..... laagta hai kal raat wali baat ko kuch zyaada hi seriously le liya! !!!!... ab main kya karu? ??? "

Jumping out of the bed, Manik searched every knock and corner of the room for Nandini.

Manik ( depressed ) : yeh ladki itni subha subha kaha gayaab ho gayi? ????.... woh bhi Sunday ke din! !!!!!

Cascading down the stairs, Manik found Mrs Murthy and Nyonika busy in some sort of gossip.

Manik ( concerned ) : aap dono ne Nandu ko dekha kya? ???.... woh pataa nehin subha subha Mr India baan ke kaha chali gayi!!!!

Sharing a glance among each other, Mrs Murthy decided to reply " Manu. .....woh Nandu kitchen mein hai! !!!! "

After knowing about Nandini's whereabouts, Manik felt relived. But, as soon as Mrs Murthy's words registered in his brain, Manik literally blurted " kitchen mein????.... kitchen mein kya kar rahi hai? ???..... oh god. ...don't tell me ki yeh pagal ladki kitchen aur library ka difference bhul gayi hai! !!!!! "

Controlling her giggles, Mrs Murthy continued her acting " ab kya baatau Manu! !!!...... soccha abhi se Nandu ko khaana baana ne ki training de du. ...taaki usse aapne sasural mein koi problem naa ho! !!!! "

Manik ( doomed ) : sasural? ?????

Nyonika ( very upset ) : ab tune toh Nandu se shaadi karne se maana kar diya naa! !!!!...... usske liye dusra ladka jaldi hi dekhna parega! !!!!

Mrs Murthy ( continued ) : aur nehin toh kya! !!!!..... ab pataa nehin Nandu ka hone wala pati kaisa hoga? ????.....

Nyonika ( added ) : aur woh humari Nandu se kitne kaam karwaega! !!!!

Mrs Murthy ( sadly ) : phir humari Nandu bimar ho jaegi! !!.... usse dekhne ke liye hum hospital bhi jaenge! !!!

Nyonika ( depressed ) : sahi mein! !!!!.... agar Manik shaadi ke liye haan karta. ..toh main aapni Nandu ko beti ki tarah sambhalti! !!!!

Mrs Murthy ( on the verge of crying ) : haan. ...agar Manu shaadi ke liye haan karta. ...toh main Nandu ko kitchen mein hi ghuss ne nehin deti! !!!..... akhir Manu ko toh sirf aur sirf aapni Nandu ke liye hi khaana baana naa pasand hai! !!!!!

Enacting their parts successfully, both the mother's looked at Maniks confused face.

Mentally patting each other's back, both the mother's wickedly smiled.

But Manik came back to his senses, when he heard Nandini yelping out of pain.

Forgetting everything, Manik ran towards the kitchen, only to find blood oozing out of Nandini's hand.

Without wasting any time, Manik scooped a crying Nandini in his arms and started climbing the stairs. While, both the mother's got worried on seeing Nandini's condition.

Placing Nandini on the bed, Manik started searching the drawers for first aid kit.

Manik was literally looking like a mad man, all set to burn down the universe.

Getting hold of the first aid kit, Manik sat near Nandini's leg and slowly touched her injured hand.

Blowing air on the deep cut, Manik started cleaning it with antiseptic liquid, while, tears were constantly flowing down his cheeks.

On seeing his condition, Nandini rubbed of her tears and tried to console him.

Nandini ( cribbing ) : chhota sa cut hai Manu! !!!.... isske liye bacchon ki tarah kyon roo raha hai? ????

But Manik didn't budge, and keept on crying.

Nandini ( coaxing ) : accha theek hai naa. ...next time se main kitchen mein hi nehin jaungi! !!!!..... please ab toh roona bannd kar de!!!!!!

Instead of saying anything, Manik just took her in a bone crushing hug and sobbed pathetically.

Rubbing his back, Nandini tried to calm him down, but nothing seemed to work.

Breaking the hug, Manik blurted " yeh sab meri galti hai! !!!!..... agar main tujhse shaadi karne se maana nehin karta. ... toh Cutie tujhe zabardasti kitchen mein kaam karne nehin bhejti! !!!!.... its all my fault! !!!!! "

Nandini was just speechless on hearing Maniks confession.

On finding that Manik was still not ready to stop crying, Nandini decided to lighten up the atmosphere.

Nandini ( cutely ) : phir galti toh meri bhi hai! !!!!..... maine bhi toh tujh se shaadi karne se maana kar diya tha! !!!!

Manik ( innocently ) : nehin Nandu. ...galti meri hai! !!!..... dekh naa maine tujhe aapne stupid decision se kitna hurt kiya! !!!..... main tere laayak nehin hu yaar! !!!

Grabbing hold of Maniks collar, Nandini pulled him towards her and threatened " oye chup kar! !!!!.... tujhse accha husband mujhe mil hi nehin sakta! !!!!! "

Encircling his arms around Nandini's waist, Manik cooed " baat toh sahi hai! !!!..... after all. ...mere alawa pure duniya mein tujhe aur koi jheel hi nehin sakta! !!!! "

Smacking Maniks head, Nandini declared " jaa main tujhse kabhi shaadi nehin karne wali! !!!! "

Royally ignoring Nandini's protest, Manik just hugged her tight and said " theek hai toh tu maat karna! !!!!..... par main tujhse zarur shaadi karunga! !!!! "
