After taking a peaceful shower, Manik came out of the washroom, drying his wet hair.

His whole attention went towards the door, as he saw Nandini entering with a not so happy look on her face.

Fully understanding what Nandini was referring to, Manik tried to defend " tu jaanti hai naa. ...I don't like grand party's and stuff! !!!!...mere liye ek candle light dinner bhi bahut hai. ..just with my family and friends! !!! "

Taking a deep breath, Nandini declared " shukar manna aaj tera birthday hai. ...warna by god tere daant tod deti! !!! "

Chuckling at her threat, Manik answered " thank god it's my birthday! !!!...warna bina daanton ke toh main tera dimaag nehin chabba pataa! !!!"

Both of them gave each other a blank look and then burst out laughing.

Hitting on Maniks chest, Nandini complained " tu bahut bura hai! !!!!....hamesha aise hi karta hai! !!! "

Manik ( goofing ) : ab itni bhi tarif maat kar meri. ..aur yeh baata plan kya hai? ???

Nandini ( sweetly ) : jee toh karta hai ki main tera muh noch lu! !!...but aaj birthday hai naa tera. ..so just controlling my killer instincts! !!!

Manik ( sarcastically ) : yeah right. ..your kitten instincts! !!!

Rolling her eyes, Nandini exclaimed " now as a punishment for destroying my surprise. ..you have to do whatever I say! !!!...bolo maanzur hai? ???? "

Narrowing his eyes at Nandini, Manik replied " ab tu koi aur option toh degi nehin! !!!...so bol kya karna hai! !!! "

Brushing her fingers through Maniks wet hair, Nandini mumbled " that's like a good boy! !!! "

Leading Manik by his arms, Nandini made him sit on the bed.

Nandini ( excitedly ) : yaad hai Manu. ..bacchpan mein tujhe kaise school ke fancy dress competitions pasand the! !!!
