Nandini's room.

At night, both Manik and Nandini were fast asleep, when out of nowhere, Maniks mobile started ringing.

Getting irritated by the constant noise, Manik decided to receive the call.

Sitting up on the bed, Manik sleepily croaked " hello. ...kaun bol raha hai? ???? ? "

From the other end, a girl replied " hello. ...kya main Manik ji se baat kar rahi hu? ???? "

Manik ( dozing ) : hmm. ...boliye. ...kya chahiye? ???

Girl ( shyly ) : woh. ...maine aap ka bio data dekha! !!!..... and I am really impressed! !!!

Manik ( confused ) : kaise bio data? ????.... kaun sa bio data? ???....maine kisi job ke liye apply nehin kiya tha! !!!!

Girl  ( giggling ) : aap bhi naa Manik ji. .....bade hi maazakiya hai! !!!..... shaadi ko thodi naa koi job kehta hai! !!!!!

Manik ( sleepily ) : kis ki shaadi? ????

Girl ( excitedly ) : arrey aap ki aur meri shaadi! !!!!

That was it, Maniks sleep flew out of the window.

Sweating like a pig, Manik stammered " shaadi????. ...tumhari????. ...meri????. ...shaadi?????. ..."

Girl  ( happily ) : haan Manik ji! !!!.... in fact maine toh humare bacchon ke naam bhi socch liye hai. .... Mridula aur Kalindi! !!!

Manik ( stammering ) : Mridula. ..... Kalindi. .... sorry wrong number! !!!!!

And Manik hung up, totally petrified with the conversation.

Stirring in her sleep, Nandini opened her eyes a bit and found Manik scratching his head in disbelief.

Placing her head on Maniks lap, Nandini asked " kya hua bey? ???..... tu raat ko jaag ke kya bhoot dekhne ki koshish kar raha hai? ???? "

Manik ( flabbergasted ) : nehin yaar Nandu! !!!!.... woh pataa nehin ek ladki ka phone aya tha! !!!!..... badi hi ajeeb ajeeb baatein kar rahi thi! !!!!!.... usski aur meri shaadi! !!!.....bio data! !!!..... bacchon ke naam Mridula aur Kalindi! !!!..... pataa nehin yaar. ..aisa mere saath hi kyon hota hai! !!!!

Hearing the word ' BIO DATA '  Nandini's mind clicked with Nyonika's disastrous plan.

Nandini was about to spill the beans in front of Manik, when his phone again started ringing.

The scared look on Maniks face gave a clear idea to Nandini, about who the caller might be.

Snatching the phone from Manik, Nandini puts it in speaker.

Girl ( concerned ) : hello. ...Manik ji. ...aapne achanaak phone kyon kaat diya? ????

Thinking for a bit, Nandini smirked and started huskily saying " Manik baby kya kar rahe ho. ...chhodo naa! !!!! "

That was it, knowing very well what was about to come next ,Manik covered his ears, not at all wanting to listen to Nandini's monologue.

Girl ( confused ) : hello Manik ji. ...aap kya kar rahe hai? ??...aap....aap kis ke saath hai? ????

Controlling her giggles, Nandini continued " uff Manik baby. ...stop being a wild animal! !!!.... it is hurting! !! "

Girl : hello. ...hello Manik ji. ...

Nandini ( mischievously ) : baby. ....now a bit faster haan. ....

Unable to bear anymore, the girl muttered " you scoundrel. ... tameez naam ki toh koi cheez hi nehin hai! !!!! "

As soon as the girl declined the call, Nandini burst out laughing. While, Manik removed his hands from his ears.

Manik ( upset ) : kya zarurat thi yeh sab karne ki Nandu? ???.... pataa nehin woh ladki mere bareme kya socch rahi hogi? ????

That was it, sitting up on the bed, Nandini angrily placed the mobile on Maniks hand.

Nandini ( pissed ) : agar tujhe itni hi fikar ho rahi hai naa uss ladki ki. ...toh abhi ke abhi usse phone kar ke baata ki yeh sab kuch jhuth hai! !!!!.... phir khushi khushi karna tu uss se shaadi! !!!.... aur haan. ... usske saath mil kar Mridula aur Kalindi ko bhi paida karna! !!!...

Spitting fire, Nandini moved to the edge of the bed and laid down. While, Manik just wanted to bang his head.

Moving towards Nandini, he tried to take her in a back hug. But Nandini smacked his hand.

Nandini ( threatened ) : don't touch me! !!!!.....jaake aapni uss phone wali ke saath bed share kar! !!!!!

Forcefully hugging her, Manik " accha sorry naa! !!!!..... soote waqt toh kam se kam gussa side pein rakh! !!!..... kal subha subha mujhe phasi pein chaddha dena! !!!!..... but abhi ke liye. ...please shanti se soo jaa! !!! "

Not at all commenting anything, Nandini drifted to sleep. While, hugging Nandini like a pillow, Manik also had his peaceful sleep.
