It was 8 '0clock in the morning.

Walking through the empty corridors in his jersey, Manik was heading towards the college ground, to find some peace of mind.

As he started dribbling with the ball, yesterday's whole conversation with Nandini started playing in front of his eyes.

Thinking about the number of times Nandini took ' Aryaman's ' name, Manik kicked the football in anger towards the goal post.

But instead of hitting the net, it was blocked by someone.

On getting a clear vision of the person, Manik was even more frustrated.

Aryaman : and we meet again. ...though maine soccha nehin tha ki humlog itni jaldi milenge! !!...but then. ..baat hi kuch aisi thi. ..ki mujhse raha nehin gaya! !!!...so I just thought of having a man to man talk. ..

Manik : what do you want to talk? ???

Aryaman just only uttered "NANDINI " making Maniks blood boil.
Manik ( pissed ) : what about her? ????

Aryaman : you know Manik. ..tum dono ki jodi naa. ..is a complete miss match! !!!...you guys are not even meant for each other! !!!

This sentence just numbed Maniks senses.

Manik : what do you mean? ???

Aryaman : I just mean that. ..you both shouldn't have got married in the first place! !!!....I can understand. ..tum log bacchpan se saath ho! !!!...best friends ho! !!!...but that doesn't qualify you as husband and wife! !!!...tum logo mein pyaar nehin. ..bass friendship hai! !!!....

On finding no response from Manik, Aryaman continued " tum dono bass dosti ke khatir iss shaadi ke rishte ko nibha rahe hai! !!!...but don't you think. ..this is wrong! !!!!.....Nandini tumhe kabhi hurt karne ka nehin socch sakti. ..shyaad issliye ab bhi iss rishte mein hai! !!....even tumhari bhi koi majboori hogi! !!!...tum bhi shyaad usse dukhi nehin dekh sakte ho! !!!....at the end of the day. ..yeh shaadi nehin. ..samjhota hai! !!!"

Pausing for a bit, Aryaman laid down his final verdict " I just feel ki agar tum Nandini ke sacche dost ho. ..then you should let her find happiness! !!...find the love of her life! !!!!...tum usse aapni best friend bulate ho naa. ..kya tum aapne best friend ki khushi ke liye itna nehin kar sakte?????...let her go Manik. ..set her free. ..."

2 :00 pm

Muttering innumerable curses, Nandini checked the last room in college, only to find that Manik was not there even.

Dialling Maniks number for the hundredth time, Nandini hissed " bass ek baar yeh namuna mere haath laag jaye. ..by god. ...lamp post pein ulta latka ke jhadu se maarungi! !!!...actually nehin. ..I have got a far better idea. ..Nyo maa se bol ke. ..usska saara samaan garage mein shift karwa dungi! !!...phir saari raat galli ke kutton ki qawali sunn ke beetaega! !!!...."

Nandini's ' 101 ways of torturing Manik ' was put to hold, as she bumped into someone.

Least bothered with whom she bumped, Nandini muttered " sorry " and started to walk away.

But the person on the other end called " arrey Nandini beta "

Noticing the person, Nandini chuckled " coach aap? ????"

Coach  ( smiling ) : I know humari peheli mulaqat utni acchi nehin thi. ..but then I am happy. ..tum ne Manik ke iss decision ko accept kiya! !!!!

Getting all confused, Nandini blurted " kaun sa decision? ??????...aap yeh kis bareme baat kar rahe hai?????? "

Coach : arrey main Manik ke further training wale decision ko support karne ki baat kar raha hu! !!!...woh toh kal hi Bangalore jaa raha hai naa! !!!...I am really happy for him! !!!!

That was it, Nandini started running from there. All she wanted was Manik to say that it is a big fat lie .

Maniks room.

Barging inside Maniks room, the first thing that caught Nandini's sight was his packed bags.

Turning Manik by his shoulder, Nandini breathed fire " when the heck were you going to say that you are leaving for Bangalore? ???? "

Manik ( calmly ) : chillax Nandu! !!...main baatane hi wala tha! !!!

Nandini ( angrily ) : baatane hi wala tha? ???...kab Manu? ????... Bangalore ki flight pein baith ne ke baad? ???

Manik ( calmly ) : yaar tu bekaar mein over react kar rahi hai! !!!...it's not a big deal! !!!

Nandini ( pissed ) : shut up! !!!...tune aapne life ka itna bada decision le liya mujhe bina baataye! !!!...and you expect me to stay calm! !!!!

Manik : meri life hai! !!!...mera decision hai! !!...tu kyon bekaar mein itna hyper ho rahi hai? ???

Nandini : yeah right! !!!...it's your life! !!!...your decision! !!!...but what about me? ???...tune ek baar ke liye yeh bhi nehin soccha ki main tere bina kaise jeeungi????....kaise rahungi main tere bina? ????

Manik : Nandu yaar !!!....please tu meri dost hai. ..toh dost baan ke reh! !!...biwi maat baan! !!!

Losing all her control, Nandini shouted " unfortunately I am your wife! !!!!!!"

Manik : please don't burden me with these relations. ...

Nandini : what? ???

That was it, tears started trickling down Nandini's eyes.

Without uttering a word, Nandini left the room and also exited from Maniks life.
