The song in the media is "Phoenix" by Olivia Holt.
"Where were you last night before all this happened?" The female officer hammers me with questions.
"All I remember was going to bed, and waking up here. That's all, I swear."
"They weren't trying to harm you, more like attempting to help you. Looked like they thought you were one of them."
"Obviously," I laugh at her assumptions. "I'll see myself out."
"You're going to the hospital, Katy."
"Fine." I grumble, sliding into the police car, and buckling my seatbelt.
I'm suddenly knocked out by a strange-smelling gas, and they drop my body off at the hospital.

"What the fuck?" I mumble, my vision blurry, and my head pounding."You're okay, Katy. Just need to do a little more testing." The nurse says, slipping a needle under my skin.
"Testing? For what?"
"Our organization, of course. Your blood is special to us-" She says before being slammed into the wall by an invincible force. A man enters the room, tears the needle out, and carries me out in the bridal-style position.
"Who are you?" I whisper, his eyes darkening.
"Someone you don't have to worry about quite yet. Get some sleep, ma petite." I drift off, tuning everything out, and curling into his very comfortable chest.

"How is she?"
"She's stable. The blood loss took a major toll on her, but she's healing nicely."
"That's good. Means she'll be able to return home and join the pack soon."
"Pack?" They realize I've now been awake the entire time, listening to the conversation.
"You'll understand soon. For now, you're in extensive care until your parents come to collect you." The blonde says, sliding her gloves off, and disposing of them in the trash can.
"You do have parents, don't you?" The brunette speaks.
"They died in a car crash."
"You could stay with us. We have an extra room in the house."
"That would be lovely. I'm Katy Cross."
"I'm Kim, and this is my lovely wife, Esme. We're a first name only household." Esme gently lifts me onto the ground.
The woman I now call Esme, helps me carry the bags I came with to the guest room, and closes the door. I settle in, and realize that a lot of my personal belongings litter the room; my computer, many of my old clothes, my MJ and Teen Wolf poster, as well as my sacred Black Stallion model. I stand up and investigate the familiar looking items. Nothing seems different about them.

I strip out of my clothes, start the shower, and step in under the hot water, lathering my hair. I shut it off seconds later, stepping out and begun drying my hair. The door knob turns, and I walk back into my bedroom.
The purple towel slides off my body, and I slip on a red lace bra, leaving my bottom half free.
The door bursts open, and a guy stands in the doorway, his eyes looking at mine, daring not to look lower than my face. I cover my bottom half, and slip my lace thong on. "I'm so sorry for bursting in here. I thought this was my room. Apparently not seeing as how you're in it. I'm Derek.""I'm Katy. Do you live here with Kim and Esme?"
"Yeah, they're my parents. You must be the girl that Tristan rescued from the hospital."
"Uh, yeah. That's me."
"Would you like a tour of the house?"
"That'd be lovely. Just let me slide on something more decent." I slip on a white lace crop top, jeans, and slip-on sandals.
"Ready?"
"Yeah." He smiles at me, and I blush a little.

What do you think of Katy so far?
This is an actual book, incase you're wondering, not a fanfic.
