Lauren

"Look who's finally awake." Adrian snickers.

   "Let us go, Adrianius."

"Tsk, tsk. I don't think so. You've already tried to escape, but thankfully I caught you before the haunts of this castle could capture and kill you."

"Haunts?"

"Supernaturals who died in here, but refused to leave."

"I killed one."

"She was a test and you passed."

"What test?"

"For my army, of course. We work with the Hunters and now, so do you."

"My pack will come for us, Adrianius."

"There's no way I'm letting them touch you. I'm not losing my one and only mate."

"I refuse to be your mate, Adrianius. You're a monster." I say, rattling the cold, metal chains attached to my handcuffs.

"As if you're not a monster? I've seen what you're capable of." He says. "You also have no idea what I can do to you, Lauren." His husky voice made me shiver, and I tried to avoid his gaze.

Indigo struggles against her chains as a very muscular hellhound slips a bag over her head, and attaches a leash to her choker. "No! Please don't let him take me."

"Shut up, you stupid bitch!" He slaps her across the face.

"Seh, leave the girl with me." I silently thank Adrian as he unlocks the handcuffs and I drop to the floor.

"Yes, Alpha." He retorts.

"You will not disobey me; otherwise, I'll throw your ass back in hell."

"Sorry, Adrian. I will leave you to it." Indigo sighs as he releases the pressure on her collar.
